"western Discourse" And The Tension Between The "chinese History"

"Five Golden Flowers" enjoyed fame in the academic circle in the latter half part of 20th century. As its name indicates, it refers to the massive discussions and contention after 1949, especially in the middle 50s and the beginning of 60s on the five fundamental theoretical issues, which namely are Chinese ancient history division issue, Chinese feudalistic society peasants war issue, seed of Chinese capitalism issue, Chinese feudalistic land ownership styles issue and the formation of Han race issue. From the perspective of academic history, conducting research on "Five Golden Flowers" issues as academic history case, reviewing the process of its ups and downs, exploring its inner relationships with western discourse is helpful to promote the study on the academic history in the 20th century and provide some useful reference for the current academic research.Besides the introduction and supplementary, the dissertation is divided into five chapters.The introduction part explains the reason of topic-selection, basic supposition, concept structure, perspective methods, analyzes relevant research condition of the academic circle at home and abroad and expounds the significance of the topic. "Five Golden Flowers" is a case study which the current author used as a whole set of research in the process of " History Theory and the history of history " research, not just some questions to be answered or solved in the field of "History Theory" and history view or history explanation; If the then discussed issue of "Five Golden Flowers" is the issue of speculative character, then this dissertation is exploring issues in the sense of "analysis", mainly initiates issues like "what happened to these issues and why there are so many big disagreements?" and explores the tension between "Western Discourse" and "Chinese History" which embodies in "Five Golden Flowers".The first chapter analyzes the language context which "Five Golden Flowers" argumentation bring about. "Five Golden Flowers" is a group of topics which are brought about by analyzing Chinese history based on materialism historical outlook as theory.
