| This paper mainly discusses the thesis how to be collected and recorded articles of Western Han by Han Shu , also on Articles of Western Han in the three collections. There are two purposes: Firstly, it studies the conditions of Han Shu's collecting and recording articles of Western Han. Secondly, it wants to discuss different ideas between historians and choosers.So-called collect and record in this paper mean choose and extract; So-called Western Han includes historical periods which had 130 years, from Liu Bang builded Western Han to Liu Xiu ascended the throne. So-called articles consist in final character products, which includes practical writings like imperical edicts and memorials to throne , and also includes impractical writings, such as ci, fu and folk-song.The first four chapters study relevant problems about Han Shu's collecting and recording articles of Western Han.The sources of materials about the western han dynasty in Han Shu is the foundation of discussing Han Shu's collecting and recording articles of Western Han,So I mainly explicates the following three respects: Tai Shi Gong's Shu, aditions and corrections of Tai Shi Gong's Shu and other ones. I also think materials of western han history collected and recorded a large number of the other materials,character materials such as national archivals, government documents, imperial edicts, chancellors'memorials to throne, poetry and fu of Han dynasty, momoka's fragmentary argumentation, history and shushu books, books on military science ,Fang Ji and so on, word-of-mouth materials like folk-song, proverbs, legends and so on . Except for Ban Gu, So many collected materials should be owed to Eastern Han rulers's cultural construction, such as collecting books and designing doctors for five classics.Ban Gu picked up a large number of articles of Western Han Dynasty to Han shu, For the literature field, it has preserved many kinds of historical datas of Western Han Dynasty. For the literary style , Han Shu gathered most of literary styles in Western Han Dynasty. The Chinese ancient literary styles has already basically completed during this period. The articles of Han Shu which reflected fully the Western Han Dynasty literary style's development overview, the utility literary style was mainstream, it also be close with the political relations. The poetry , Fu and other literary styles resided in the secondary position. The tendency of collecting and recording utility literary styles and the Consciousness of choosing the articles seriously affect the later generations's historians, articles evaluators, the critics, and the writers.When we Discuss main methods of Han Shu's collecting and recording articles of Western Han, XinShu,Sima Qian's Preface, A Letter From Sima Qian To Ren An, DongFang Shuo's Stories,YangXiong's Preface,Huan Kuan's A Debate On Salt And Iron, Feng San Wang Ce Patched and Ansering Guest's Challenging by Chu Shaosun, LiuXin's Qi Lue . Some imperial orders and chancellors'memorials to throne and so on from Han Shu were the solid literatures of this comparison. Based on this, I thought that Han Shu includes five methods:gathering short articles into a completed article, tailoring articles redundantly, prompting writes'causes and effects, reorganizing the authors'articles and deleting the language. What hides behind the methods of collecting and recording was Ban Gu's collection tendency. It mainly manifests: intervention to realistic politics, narration of dynasty history, the evidence of commentary, showing the article ideas.Historical Records collected and recorded about 200 articles of Western Han. Its characteristic mainly includes: lots of the imperial orders and chancellors'memorials to throne , detailing country politics; recorded the letter articles ,putting historical narrations together; selected records of the song, poem, Ci and Fu, reappearancing the contemporary reality, editting other articles, showing times'change.I analysis redundant articl from Ji, Biao, Shu, Zhi and Biography .I have made the situation comparison of collecting and recording between HanShu and Historical Records, to inquire Ban and Ma's similarities and differences of collecting and recording intentions. therefore, it will help us to excavate thought similarities and differences of their ages .The chapters of 5 th and 6 th concurrently compares articles of Han Shu with three collections'. The 5th chapter elaborates Western Han Dynasty articles'value of three collections . Literary Selections collected and recorded 49 articles of Western Han Dynasty. Prince ZhaoMing contained own article ideas by the collection of articles, namely , the emotion performance should be real, the article content should be benifical to the hearts of mankind, the article form should be gorgeous,the discriminations of the literary style should be different. The chapters of 5 th and 6 th concurrently compares articles of Han Shu with three collections'. The 5th chapter elaborates Western Han Dynasty articles'value of three collections . Literary Selections collected and recorded 49 articles of Western Han Dynasty. Prince ZhaoMing contained own article ideas by the collection of articles, namely , the emotion performance should be real, the article content should be benifical to the hearts of mankind, the article form should be gorgeous,the discriminations of the literary style should be different."Wen Guan Ci Lin"is a collections of poems and articles from Pre-Qin to the beginning of Tang dynasty . It recorded nine articles of Western Han Dynasty, which were emperor's imperial edicts,completely extracting from Han Shu . Its literature value mainly manifests in three aspects: it could be used to prove the book's edition value, and used to collate writing deviations of Han Shu .Meanwhile, it may used to study the phenomenon of"jiajie"in the ancient Chinese. GuWen Yuan is also a collections of Pre-Tang articles, it recorded 72 articles of the Western Han Dynasty, their literature value mainly lies in editing the lost articles, preserving and collating.The sixth chapter elaborates the comparion Han Shu with the Western Han's articles of three collections. Firstly, we discuss the comparison Han Shu with Literary Selections: what comes from Han Shu, the articles of Literary selections is reliable . we can make clear of the accurate year of the Western Han Dynasty articles in Literary Selections with the help of Han Shu .the articles which Han Shu didn't record but carried in Literary Selections enriches the work treasures of the Western Han Dynasty ; Contrasting the articles which Han Shu recorded , Literary Selections have neglected the huge value of the imperial orders and chancellors'memorials in the Western Han Dynasty. Secondly, We compares the Western Han Dynasty articles of Han Shu and Wen Guan ci lin. Han Shu is a material origin of the Western Han Dynasty articles in Wen Guan ci lin. Comparing the recorded articles of Han Shu, the Western Han Dynasty of emperor's imperial edicts in Wen Guan ci lin are more valuable . Finally, We compares the Western Han Dynasty articles of Han Shu and GuWen Yuan . Basing on the Western Han Dynasty articles of GuWen Yuan, we can make up and prove relatead articles of HanShu·Literary and arts . Basing on Han Shu records, we can determine that the Western Han Dynasty articles of GuWen Yuan were true or false ,and with the aid of Han Shu, we can clarify that the related questions on the articles of GuWen Yuan were right or wrong.Han Shu has inherited the methods of collecting and recording articles in Historical Records , it collected and recorded the Western Han Dynasty articles massively to narrate the history.With the aid of the articles to narrate the events, to make judgment on people, it displayed historical works'social function . Later, the annalistic style historians selects the Western Han Dynasty articles which records even more to stress in the intervention reality utility articles, but literariness articles fade out gradually the historian's vision. on the one hand, there was the relations greatly with the history narration thought of historians'. on the other hand ,it indirectly manifested the different time social ideological trend. In this paper ,we studied parts of Western Han Dynasty's articles which come from three collections .To compare with the Western Han Dynasty's articles which come from Han Shu , Literary selections have neglected the articles'huge value of imperial orders and chancellors'memorials to throne, it pays great attention to is the article gorgeous form and the sound harmony; WenGua cilin which contains 1000 volumes is different, it includes 203 volumes which have the articles of imperial orders and chancellors'memorials to throne, in the content 388 volumes which we could certainly know the literary style, it has accounted more than 50%, these utility article's usability and the enlightenment were put in the important position. If we don't have 30 volumns incomplete books, we could believe that this kind of Western Han's articles will be more, it will have more close relation with the Western Han Dynasty articles of Han Shu . GuWen Yuan has the addendum function to Han Shu about hving not recorded the Western Han's articles, it could make up the flaw of Han Shu which did not collect and record some articles, it could expand the Western Han articles'scope, enrich the Western Han articles'category, to expand the research sight. |
