Energy is the material basis of contemporary social economic development andthe power to support the whole society running. At present, China is in a period ofrapid economic development, to a certain extent, can be said to be driven model ofeconomic development of energy, however, China is facing must be to make up forthe gap in domestic demand to import dilemma.Russia is a big country of energyresources, with China adjacent, volume and export volume of energy productionenormous that make it more and more influential in the international energy market.Russia has become one of the most important source of energy imports Chinese.Inavailable overseas energy of China,Russia plays a decisive role, and also can be saidthe one and the only one.China and Russia have geopolitical advantage obviously, andtheir complementarity is very strong in the field of energy, but the development ofSino-Russian Energy trade is not smooth,it is the embodiment of complex cooperativeenvironment and the profit, such as the pipeline issue and the natural gas projece. In this paper, qualitative and quantitative research methods were usedcomprehensively, and analyze the main factors which affect Sino-Russian Energytrade, and put forward corresponding countermeasures combine with the problems inthe Sino-Russian Energy trade. This paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the related concepts, theoretical basis and literature review.Inthis part, the paper defines the concept of energy and energy trade;discusses andanalyzes the related theory briefly, including the theory of absoluteadvantage, comparative advantage theory, factor endowment theory and strategic tradetheory;and comb correlational literature from three aspects, such as the relationshipbetween trade and economic growth, energy trade and ecological relations andSino-Russian Energy trade. The second chapter is the international energy market. In this part, the paperIntroduces the reserves and distribution of energy in the world; the supply anddemand of international energy market; analyzes the factors that influencetheinternational energy supply and demand in the market. The third chapter is the China with Russia on the international energymarket.China has rich energy resources total quantity, but with the rapid developmentof economy, the domestic energy gap is bigger and bigger, and the domestic energystructure threat to the environment.Chinese energy was dependent on the overseas supply markets in the Middle East and Africa too much. Russian energy resourceswas too rich, and energy production and export volume gradually increased, the energystructure dominated by clean natural gas, Europe is the main market of the Russianenergy output. The fourth chapter is the foundation, process and problems of Sino-RussianEnergy trade.Complementarity in the enery, common profits pursue and geographicaladvantages, high significant strategic relationship is the basis for the development ofSino-Russian Energy trade. The course of development of Sino-Russian Energy tradefor more than twenty years show a picture of the twists and turns, and exhibitedthe stage characteristics. At present, the Sino-Russian Energy trade has achieved goodresults, but cannot ignore the problems.Sino-Russian Energy trade based on the lackof pricemechanism,China and Russia was still relatively passive; in the main demandfor energy in the competition, the development of Sino-Russian Energy trade wasrestricted;and Sino-Russian Energy trade affected by the internationalpolitical factors larger. The fifth chapter is the analysis of influence factors of Sino-Russian Energytrade. The main economy factors were the level of economic development of Chinaand Russia, energy technology, energy production and consumption andChinese other chief suppliers’energy supply. The main non-economic factors weredomestic environment of China and Russia, lacking of energy pricing power and otherinternational factors. The sixth chapter is the prospect and Countermeasures of Sino Russianenergy trade development. There are broad prospects in Sino-Russian Energytrade. With the constant changes of the world situation and the pattern, thedevelopment of Sino-Russian Energy trade also ushered in new opportunities. The twocountries should make efforts to the development of Sino-Russian Energy trade.
