With the development of society,the public pay more attention to the healthy,and the service development level of county-level medical institutions is relatively backward,which makes the doctor-patient relationship increasingly tense.However,county-level hospitals still face great challenges in preventing and handling doctor-patient disputes.Taking N Hospital of Guizhou Province as the research object,this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions to improve the existing problems in the emergency handling mechanism of this hospital,aiming at providing useful reference for other similar hospitals.Firstly,271 cases of medical disputes in the hospital from 2017 to 2021 were analyzed.Secondly,the in-depth interviews were conducted on 21 managerial staff,clinical medical staff and service window staff of the hospital.Finally,3 typical doctor-patient dispute cases were selected for analysis and study.In conclusion,the current situation of the emergency handling mechanism of doctor-patient dispute is fully presented in the hospital.This paper takes 4R crisis management theory as the analysis framework,aiming at sorting out existing problems and causes.This paper proposes effective rectification measures from four stages of reduction management,preparatory management,response management and recovery management,so as to improve the emergency handling mechanism of hospital doctor-patient disputes.The research results indicate that the current situation of the emergency handling mechanism of doctor-patient disputes in Guizhou N Hospital is in urgent need of improvement.Through strengthening crisis awareness,establishing risk assessment system and crisis early warning system,improving management system,strengthening team management,optimizing processing process,strengthening personnel training,unblocking communication channels,strengthening online public opinion guidance,strengthening closed-loop management and other measures,we will improve the emergency handling mechanism of hospital doctor-patient disputes,and improve the management level and service capacity of hospitals.
