Purpose: To observe the clinical effect of Jiawei Zengye Decoction on functional constipation(Yin deficiency and intestinal dryness syndrome). To evaluate its clinical value from an objective and scientific point of view,so as to further expand the clinical diagnosis and treatment of functional constipation.Material and method: A total of 80 patients from the outpatient department of Liaoning Anorectal Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected and divided into two groups with 40 patients in each group by random number table method. The observation group took Jiawei Zengye decoction orally, and the control group took lactulose orally. The observation group was decocted in water to take about 260 ml,one dose per day, divided into morning and evening after meals,a course of 7 days,a total of two courses of treatment.Control group: lactulose oral solution 10ml/ time, three times a day,the course of treatment was the same as the observation group. The scores and total scores of various constipation symptoms of the two groups of patients were evaluated before and after treatment,as well as the clinical efficacy. The patients in the two groups were followed up one month after the end of treatment and the recurrence rate of the two groups of patients was observed for statistical analysis and comparative evaluation.Results:1.Analysis of total effective rate: The total effective rate of the observation group was 82.5%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 75%.The observation group was significantly better than the control group, and the difference in efficacy between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.Score analysis of constipation symptoms in the two groups: Score analysis of main symptoms in the two groups: score of main symptoms in the two groups was significantly lower than that in the group(P < 0.01),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);Secondary disease score analysis of the two groups: the secondary disease score of the observation group was significantly decreased compared with that before treatment,P < 0.01,which had significant statistical significance;Compared with the control group before treatment, the score decreased slightly(P < 0.05),which was statistically significant. After treatment, the constipation sub-syndrome scores of the two groups were compared between the two groups,P < 0.01,and the difference was statistically significant.Total score analysis of constipation symptoms: comparison between two groups, observation group was significantly better than control group(P < 0.05).3.Analysis of follow-up results of the two groups: the recurrence rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(53.3%)(15.1%),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).The total symptom score of the two groups was compared, and the difference between groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).4.No adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during and after the treatment, and the safety was reliable. Conclusion:Jia Wei Zengye decoction can improve the main symptoms(defecation time, frequency, difficulty in defecation, fecal characteristics, anal sinking feeling)of patients with functional constipation(Yin deficiency and intestinal dryness syndrome),and improve the secondary symptoms(dry mouth and less fluid, hot flusher and night sweats, upset insomnia, hand, foot and heart heat)more significantly than the control group. This treatment has definite clinical efficacy and good long-term efficacy. The recurrence rate is relatively low, safe and reliable, worthy of further application.
