Bibliometric Analysis Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis And Research On The Mechanism Of Action Of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction In Treatmen

Purpose1.Based on bibliometrics,this paper presents and analyzes the research status,hot spots and frontiers of Chinese literature on the treatment of HT by traditional Chinese medicine,objectively analyzes the research status of the treatment of HT by traditional Chinese medicine,and visually displays the research achievements in this field by relying on the knowledge graph to provide reference for future research.2.The drug-gene-disease co-module network was constructed based on network pharmacology,the therapeutic mechanism was explored from the perspective of network pharmacology,the therapeutic efficacy of the intrinsic active ingredients on the disease targets was studied,and the mechanism of Buzhongyiqi decoction in the treatment of HT was expounds,so as to provide reference for subsequent research.Material and method Paper 1Literature related to TCM treatment of HT collected from CNKI,Wanfang,VIP database and Pub Med database up to December 31,2022 was retrieved.The articles meeting the inclusion criteria were imported into Note Express in Refworks format and Pubmed format.The bibliometrics method was adopted to summarize and analyze the number of articles published in this field,the trend of articles published,the sources of documents,the authors and the keywords.Finally,the VOSviewer and Pajek software were used for visual display.Paper 2Based on the TCMSP database,the main active ingredients of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction(Astragalus,white Rhizoma,ginseng,angelica,Tangerine peel,Bupleurum bupleurum,cohosh and licorice)were screened,and supplemented by the Swiss Target Prediction Database.Disease targets of HT were obtained from Genecards,Di GSe E,Dis Ge NET,CTD,NCBI and Mala Cards databases.The "TCM-Component-Target network" was constructed using Cytoscape3.9.0 software,and core targets were calculated using cyto Hubba plug-in.The STRING database was used for protein interaction analysis.KEGG signaling pathway and GO bioenrichment were analyzed by Metascape platform.Finally,CB-DOCK was used to verify the results by molecular docking.Results Paper 11.The number of literatures on the treatment of HT by TCM showed an overall growth trend,and the research heat of TCM on HT gradually increased.2.(1)Journal articles were distributed in 221 kinds of journals and magazines,among which16 were core journals of Peking University or science and technology,accounting for 26.16%of the total journals,and the Liaoning Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine had the largest number of published articles.(2)Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine published the most disserations,77;Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,with 49 and 45 papers respectively,followed by Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.(3)20 articles were published abroad,distributed in 17 journals and magazines.3.At present,the core group of authors in the field of Chinese medicine research in HT has initially formed,with a total of 82 core authors.Zhang Lan,Gao Tianshu,Zuo Xinhe and Yang Hongjie are representative research teams.Foreign core authors in this field have not yet been formed.4.Network pharmacology,medication rules,mechanism of action of Chinese medicine and animal experiments are the hot spots in TCM treatment of HT.Paper 21.There were 164 core active ingredients of Buzhong Yiqi decoction in the treatment of HT,including quercetin,kaempferol,stigmasterol and β.sitosterol.2.There were 177 core targets of Buzhong Yiqi decoction in the treatment of HT,including JUN,MAPK1,MAPK14,AKT1,STAT3 and IL-6.3.A total of 2281 biological processes,117 cellular components and 196 molecular functions were involved in the treatment of HT with Buzhong Yiqi decoction.A total of 196 pathways were enriched,including PI3K-Akt,MAPK,Fox O,HIF-1 and TNF signaling pathways.4.The core components and target proteins all showed good binding properties.Conclusion Paper 1The traditional Chinese medicine treatment of HT is the current research hotspot,and the research scope is extensive,including the etiology and pathogenesis of HT in traditional Chinese medicine,treatment based on syndrome differentiation,medication rules and treatment experience summary,etc.Network pharmacology,medication rules and animal experiments are the current research hotspot of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of HT.Paper 2Buzhong Yiqi Decoction treats Hashimoto’s thyroiditis through multiple components,multiple target interactions and multiple pathways,among which PI3K-Akt,MAPK,Fox O,HIF-1,TNF and NF-κB signaling pathways are potential pathways of action,and their mechanisms may involve immune inflammatory response,oxidative stress and apoptosis.
