Clinical Observation On The Efficacy Of Modified Shenling Baizhu Powder Combined With Eucalyptus, Lemon And Pinellia Enteric-coated Capsules In The Treatment Of Allergic Rhinitis (spleen Deficiency Syndrome) In Childre

Objective: To observe the efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions of Shenling baizhu Powder combined with limonene and pinene enteric capsules in children with allergic rhinitis(syndrome of temper weakness).Methods: Sixty children with allergic rhinitis,which are the syndrome of temper weakness,were selected from the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine.They were randomly divided into three groups :the traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with Shenling baizhu powder alone,the western medicine group was treated with nasal glucocorticoid budesonide nasal spray alone,and the observation group was treated with Shenling baizhu powder and limonene and pinene enteric capsules for 4 weeks.SPSS was used to compare the alleviation of basic symptoms,alleviation of physical sign s,alleviation of TCM symptoms,i mprov ement of quality of life and the incidence of adverse reactions in the three groups after treatment.Results :1.In the observation group,the effective rate of reliev ing basic symptoms,physical sign s,TCM symptoms and improv ing quality of life was 94.74%,94.74%,94.74% and 89.47%.2.Improving basic symptoms :the effect of observation group was the same as that of Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group(p >0.05).3.Improving physical signs :the effect of observation group was the same as that of western medicine group(p > 0.05),but better than that of Chinese medicine group(p < 0.05).4.Improving the quality of life:the effect of observation group was the same as that of Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group(p > 0.05).5.Improvement of TCM symptoms :the effect of observation group and TCM group was the same(p > 0.05),and both were significantly better than western medicine group(p=0.000 < 0.05).5.No adverse reactions were recorded in the observation group.Conclusion:The addition and reduction of Shenling baizhu Powder combined with limonene and pinene enteric capsules can reliev e basic symptoms,physical sign s,TCM symptoms and improv e quality of life of children with allergic rhinitis(syndrome of temper weakness)with good safety.
