Objective:To observe the difference of Gesell scale score and efficacy in the treatment of children with cerebral palsy complicated with intellectual disability by acupuncture and moxibustion and rehabilitation training alone,to preliminatively analyze and compare the effects of the two clinical treatment methods,to explore the relationship between acupuncture and moxibustion and rehabilitation and the outcome of children with cerebral palsy and intellectual disability, and to provide data support for the clinical treatment plan and the development of implementation norms. Methods:Based on the actual hospital diagnosis and treatment data, this study retrospectively analyzed the medical records of 100 children aged 1 to 6 years old with cerebral palsy and mental retardation admitted from January 1,2020 to June 31,2021,and divided them into a treatment group(acupuncture combined with rehabilitation treatment group)of 56 cases and a control group(simple rehabilitation treatment group)of 44 cases according to different treatment plans. The children in each group were divided into three levels of mental retardation, mild, moderate and severe, according to the admission assessment of the degree of mental retardation. The efficacy of the two treatment regiments within the different degrees of mental retardation were compared and analyzed. The changes of DQ score of Gesell scale in the two groups were observed and compared before treatment,6 months after treatment and 12 months after treatment, and the data were statistically analyzed.Results:1.There was no statistical significance in the general situation and DQ score of Gesell scale of CP patients in the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.Intra-group comparison:(1)For the children with mild and moderate to severe cerebral palsy combined with intellectual impairment,DQ scores in the treatment group were significantly increased after 6 months and 12 months compared with before treatment, while DQ scores in the control group were increased after 12 months, with statistical significance(P < 0.05);Compared with 6 months of treatment,DQ scores in the treatment group and control group were significantly increased after 12 months of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2)For children with extremely severe mental impairment,DQ scores in the treatment group and control group were not significantly improved after 6 months and 12 months compared with before treatment, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with 6 months of treatment,DQ scores in both groups were not significantly improved after 12 months of treatment, with no statistical significance(P>0.05).3.Comparison between groups: The DQ scores of children with mild cerebral palsy combined with intellectual impairment in the treatment group were better than those in the control group after 6 and 12 months of treatment(P < 0.05);DQ scores in the treatment group were better than those in the control group after 12 months of treatment(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in DQ scores between the two groups after 6 months and 12 months of treatment(P >0.05).4.Compared with the total effective rate of the two groups, the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The combination of acupuncture and rehabilitation therapy can effectively promote the intellectual development ability of children with cerebral palsy complicated with mild and moderate to severe intellectual impairment.2.The curative effect of acupuncture and rehabilitation combined with cerebral palsy in children with mild or moderate to severe intellectual impairment is superior to that of rehabilitation alone.3.Acupuncture and rehabilitation combined treatment and simple rehabilitation training have no obvious effect on children with extremely severe intellectual disability cerebral palsy.
