Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of three part acupoint selection combined with Canggui acupoint exploration in the treatment of Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome of lumbar triple transverse process syndrome. Methods: The relevant data of 64 patients who met the inclusion criteria in the acupuncture and moxibustion Department,Orthopaedics Department and Inpatient Department of Changde Hospital affiliated to Hunan University of Chinese Medicine were collected. The patients were randomly divided into two groups:the control group took orally one tablet of Irecoxib(specification: 0.1g/tablet)in the morning and evening. The treatment group selected Yintang, waist Ashi acupoints, and Foot Linqi acupoints for routine acupuncture treatment, while the waist Ashi acupoints were treated with Canggui probing acupuncture method;7 days is one course of treatment, with a total of 2 courses of treatment,Evaluate the efficacy before treatment,3 days,7 days, and 14 days after treatment. The efficacy evaluation is mainly based on the Oswestry Dysfunction Index(ODI score for low back pain),Mc Gill Pain Scale, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Score before and after treatment,as well as a comparison of recurrence rate after one month to evaluate its clinical efficacy and safety. Results: After treatment, the ODI score,Mc Gill pain scale score(SF-MPQ),and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the two groups of patients decreased compared to before treatment(P < 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. After treatment, the comparison between the two groups showed that after 3 days of treatment, the control group had better scores than the treatment group(P < 0.05);After 7 days of treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in various indicators between the two groups(P>0.05);After14 days of treatment, the treatment group had better scores than the control group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. After treatment, the total effective rate in the control group was 86.67%,while the total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.33%,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After one month of treatment, the follow-up showed a recurrence rate of 10% in the control group and 3.33% in the treatment group. Conclusion:The treatment of three-part acupoint selection combined with Canggui acupoint exploration is effective in relieving pain and dysfunction of lumbar trigeminal process syndrome, and its long-term efficacy is superior to simple drug treatment; For the early stage of treatment, the immediate effect of the drug is good, with rapid onset, and the short-term effect is better than that of acupuncture. However, there is no significant difference in the efficacy between the two in the mid-term of treatment, and acupuncture has a better therapeutic effect in the later stage; The combination of three-part acupoint selection and Canggui acupoint exploration method has high safety, lower recurrence rate, and good long-term efficacy, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
