Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of ModicⅡ Type Discogenic Low Back Pain (cold-dampness Arthralgia Syndrome) With Wutou Decoctio

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of aconitum soup in the treatment of Modic Ⅱ discogenic low back pain(cold dampness obstruction syndrome).Methods: Sixty outpatients with discogenic low back pain who met the criteria for admission and were willing to participate in the trial were selected from January 2022 to December 2022 in the Department of Spinal Medicine of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Second Affiliated Hospital.Random number table method was used to divide 30 cases into observation group and control group,the observation group was given aconitum soup formula granules and control group was given blackbone vine chasing wind huoluo granules.1 course for1 week and 4 sessions for treatment.VAS scores,M-JOA scores,Modic Ⅱ area change rates and post-treatment efficacy were recorded in both groups,and all observational data and efficacy were statistically analyzed with SPSS 26.0.Result:(1)The general data and pre-treatment VAS scores,M-JOA scores,and Modic Ⅱ area change rates were compared between the two groups,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The two sets of data can be compared.(2)After treatment,VAS and M-JOA scores of the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P>0.05),and the improvement of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P>0.05).(3)Patients in the control group had a statistically significant decrease in Modic Ⅱ area change rate after treatment compared to before treatment(P<0.05),while in the control group,there was no statistically significant difference between before and after treatment(P>0.05).(4)The total efficacy was 86.67%in the observation group and 76.67% in the control group,with a statistically significant difference between the observation group and the control group(P<0.05).(5)There were no serious adverse events during treatment in both groups.Conclusion: aconitum soup has a good clinical effect and no obvious toxic side effects in the treatment of Modic Ⅱ discogenic low back pain,which provides a new way of treating discogenic low back pain.
