Observation On The Efficacy Of Yufu Jiedu Ointment In The Treatment Of Hand-foot Syndrome Caused By Capecitabine Chemotherapy In Patients With Colorectal Cance

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Yufu Jiedu Ointment in the treatment of hand-foot syndrome caused by capecitabine chemotherapy in patients with colorectal cancer.Methods: From January 2021 to May 2022,60 patients with hand-foot syndrome caused by chemotherapy with capecitabine were selected from the outpatient department or inpatient department of Hunan Cancer Hospital.All patients were randomly divided into Yufu Jiedu Ointment group(treated with Yufu Jiedu Ointment)and Urea Ointment group(treated with Urea Ointment)with 30 cases each.Both groups were treated continuously for 21 days.The grade improvement of hand-foot syndrome,TCM syndrome score,pain visual analogue score(VAS),hand-foot skin reaction quality of life scale(HF-Qo L)score and anxiety self-rating scale(SAS)score were recorded in the two groups.Results:(1)Comparison of general information: There was no statistically significant difference in the general situation(gender,age,etc.)of the two groups of patients,which was comparable.(2)After treatment,there were 17 Grade 0 cases in the Yufu Jiedu Cream group,and there were no Grade 3 cases;After treatment,there were 11 cases of grade 0 in the urea ointment group,and there were still 2 cases of grade3,indicating that the Yufu Jiedu ointment group had better efficacy in reducing the grading of hand and foot syndrome than the urea ointment group(P<0.05).(3)In the Yufu Jiedu ointment group,22 cases were effective(17 cases were cured,5 cases were effective),8 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 73.3%;In the urea ointment group,14 cases were effective(11 cases were cured,3 cases were effective),and 16 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was46.7%.The therapeutic effect of Yufu ointment group was better than that of urea ointment group(P<0.05).(4)After treatment,the TCM syndrome score in both groups decreased compared to that before treatment,and the symptoms improved(P<0.05).Moreover,the TCM syndrome score in the Yufu Jiedu Ointment group was lower than that in the urea ointment group,and the symptoms improved more significantly(P=0.000).(5)After treatment,the VAS score of pain in both groups decreased compared to that before treatment(P<0.05).The pain VAS score in the Yufu Jiedu ointment group was lower than that in the urea ointment group(P<0.05).(6)After treatment,the HF-Qo L score of pain in the two groups decreased compared to that before treatment(P<0.05),and the HF-Qo L score in the Yufu Jiedu ointment group was lower than that in the urea ointment group(P<0.05).(7)After treatment,the SAS scores in the two groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and the SAS scores in the Yufu Jiedu ointment group were lower than those in the urea ointment group(P<0.01).Conclusion: Yufu Jiedu Ointment has a definite clinical effect on the treatment of hand-foot syndrome caused by capecitabine chemotherapy in colorectal cancer patients,which is superior to urea ointment.It can effectively reduce the clinical grade of patients,reduce the TCM syndrome score,relieve pain symptoms,improve the quality of life and anxiety of patients,and has certain clinical application value,and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
