Objective:By reviewing ancient medical records and modern literature,this study aims to investigate the origins of tic disorders(TD)and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)in children,and summarize the pathogenesis,characteristic diagnosis,treatment principles,syndrome differentiation,and comprehensive treatment of these diseases.This article sorts out ancient and modern literature on children’s psychological and behavioral disorders from the perspective of literature,explores the clinical medication patterns and commonly used non-medicine therapies for TD and ADHD in children,attempts to determine the traditional Chinese medicine treatment plans for common clinical syndrome types of TD and ADHD in children,and attempts to establish a prescription and clinical database,To provide literature support and information search for further research on TD and ADHD in the future,and to provide a reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of TD and ADHD in children.Methods:Using the methods of literature review,theoretical research,and data analysis,taking the era as the outline and books as the subject,this thesis selected more than 40 ancient medical books and modern literature on TD and ADHD in children from the last decade for in-depth collation and analysis.Besides,using theoretical research methods to analyze the syndrome and treatment patterns of TD and ADHD in children treated with traditional Chinese medicine,as well as commonly used non-medicine therapies;Meanwhile,data analysis was used to statistically analyze the medications used to treat TD and ADHD in children in ancient medical records.Furthermore,selecting ancient high-frequency medicines and medicine categories for the treatment of TD and ADHD in children and create a database of prescription medicines and clinical data.Result:1.Research on the origin and development of the names of TD and ADHD in children.The "52 Disease Prescriptions" proposed the treatment of the infantile convulsive disorder,with the earliest emergence of the word "convulsive disorder".The "Huang Di Nei Jing Su Wen-Qibing Lun" section proposed the name "convulsive disorder",and the "Taiping Shenghui Fang" of the Northern Song Dynasty established the named "convulsive disorder" for the first time.2.The understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of TD and ADHD in children is based on the specific physiological and pathological conditions of children.The factors that cause them can be roughly classified as congenital kidney deficiency,improper diet,seven emotions causing diseases,external pathogens,et cetera.The disease is located in the liver,spleen,and kidney,mainly the liver.The pathogenesis of TD and ADHD in children is the deficiency of the five organs,mainly the liver,spleen,and kidney,which affects the normal physiological function of the organs and produces the pathological product of wind and phlegm.Therefore,it is originally due to the deficiency of the organs,marked by wind and phlegm,and belongs to the category of deficiency and excess.3.Summary and analysis of treatment formulas for TD and ADHD in children.The oral formula involves a total of 284 traditional Chinese medicines,with a total of 3914 remaining medicines.The total frequency of medicine appearance is 4076 times.After removing toxic medicines such as mercury,lead cream,powder cream,et cetera,as well as peony without indicating red or white peony,as well as undetected drugs such as unicorn root,flying white flour,tree shade,et cetera,a total of 35 traditional Chinese medicines with a frequency of more than 30 occurrences include scorpion,ginseng,licorice,cinnabar,musk,gastrodia elata,white aconite,Poria cocos,Tiannanxing,White muscardine silkworm,et cetera.Among them,the types of medicines that appear more than 30 times include liver calming and wind nourishing medicines,deficiency tonifying medicines,calming medicines,phlegm resolving and cough relieving and asthma relieving medicines,et cetera.4.The treatment methods for TD and ADHD in children are very diverse.In addition to traditional Chinese medicine treatment,acupuncture therapy,children’s massage therapy,ear acupoint pressure therapy,five-tone therapy,dietary therapy,and traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy are also commonly used non-medicine therapies in clinial practice.In addition,there are modern treatment methods in addition to traditional Chinese medicine treatment,such as behavior correction therapy,psychological intervention therapy,family intervention therapy,etc.5.Determine the modern clinical diagnosis and treatment plans for the four common clinical syndromes of TD and ADHD in children,analyze the main points of symptoms,and treatment principles,recommend commonly used medicines,dietary remedies,acupoints,massage techniques,and five tone repertoire.6.The establishment of a prescription and clinical database for TD and ADHD in children.using database technology to establish a prescription and clinical database,can be queried from multiple perspectives such as formula name,formula origin,drug name,drug category,clinical syndrome type,symptom points,and treatment principles,achieving rapid retrieval of information related to TD and ADHD in children.Research Meaning1.This paper sorts out ancient and modern literature
