| Purpose: To observe the clinical effect of ocular acupuncture combined with common acupuncture in the treatment of constipation after ischemic stroke,and compare it with common acupuncture to explore the differences between the two methods,so as to provide a simple,safe and effective treatment scheme for improving constipation after ischemic stroke.Material and method: Sixty patients with constipation after ischemic stroke in brain K3 ward of Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with common acupuncture,and the points were selected: Tianshu,Zhigou,Shangjuxu,Zhaohai and Dachangshu,with clinical addition and subtraction of points,and the needle was retained for 30 min every day.On the basis of the control group,the observation group was treated with eye acupuncture,and the selected acupoints were bilateral lung and large intestine area,spleen and stomach area and lower focal area.Apply sterile press needles to acupoints in eye areas and indwelling them for 12 hours.Instruct patients to massage the press needles for 3-5 times for 30 seconds each time according to their illness,once a day for 5 days,rest for 2 days and treat for 2 weeks.The constipation symptom score and quality of life score were evaluated before and after treatment,and the data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 23.0 statistical software to evaluate the clinical effect of eye acupuncture therapy on constipation after ischemic stroke.Results:1.60 patients were included in the study.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,basic diseases,constipation symptom score and PAC-QOL score between the two groups(p > 0.05).2.Intra-group comparison: After treatment,the constipation symptom score and PAC-QOL score of the two groups decreased,with statistical difference(P < 0.05).Comparison between groups: After treatment,the first defecation time,defecation interval time,defecation time,defecation difficulty and PAC-QOL score were compared between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(p > 0.05).However,in terms of defecation meaning and defecation shape,they are equivalent(p > 0.05)and are not comparable.3.Total effective rate: Control group(30 cases in common acupuncture group): 1 case was cured,5 cases were markedly effective,17 cases were effective and 7 cases were ineffective,with a total effective rate of 76.67%.In the observation group(30 cases in eye acupuncture group),3 cases were cured,14 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective and 4cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 86.67%,and there was statistical difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.The overall curative effect of eye acupuncture on constipation after ischemic stroke is higher than that of ordinary acupuncture group.2.Eye acupuncture treatment can obviously shorten the defecation interval,defecation time and first defecation time of constipation after ischemic stroke,and reduce the defecation difficulty of patients.3.Eye acupuncture therapy can improve the quality of life of patients. |
