| Objective:Investigated the distribution and combination of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome elements in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia,which provided objective reference for syndrome differentiation and treatment of this disease.Methods:The clinical information of 247 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia was collected from January 2021 to January 2022 in the Department of Pediatric of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of traditional Chinese medicine.The relevant data was entered into Excel and SPSS28.0for statistical analysis,and the distribution rules of TCM syndrome elements of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia were summarized.Results:1.General conditions: Among 247 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae,123 cases were males,and 124 cases were females,age from 5 months to 12 years old,average age was(39.96±25.19)months.The age of onset from 1 to 2years for 34.82%,and 3 to 5 years for 42.91%.The comparison of gender composition in each age group,at <1 years old chidren,the number of male was more than female,and more female children between 3 and 5 years old,the difference had statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in gender composition in the remaining age groups(P>0.05).In the onset seasons,There were 59 cases in spring,47 cases in winter,62 cases in autumn and 79 cases in summer,and more cases in summer and autumn,accounting for 57.08%.The shortest onset days at admission was 1 day,and the longest was 5 months,average days(11.66±15.06),137 cases ≤7 days,49 cases 8~14 days,30 cases 15~28 days,and 31 cases > 28 days.2.Syndrome elements of disease location:Lung(243 cases)> surface(225 cases)>small intestine(17 cases)> spleen(12 cases)> stomach(5 cases)> large intestine(2 cases)> and kidney(1 cases).There was no statistical difference in the distribution in different genders(P>0.05).The scores of spleen and stomach showed a positive linear correlation with the days of onset at admission(P<0.05),and no statistical correlation between lung,surface,and small intestine and the days of onset at admission(P>0.05).3.Syndrome elements of nature of disease:Excessive syndrome elements:heat(223 cases)> external wind(168 cases)> sputum(150 cases)> blood heat(39 cases)> fluid(31 cases)> coldness(24 cases)> dampness(23 cases)> blockage(14 cases).Deficiency syndrome elements: Yin deficiency(107 cases)> Qi deficiency(103 cases)> Yang deficiency(8 cases)> blood deficiency(5 cases)> sperm loss(1 cases).The distribution of syndrome elements fluid and Yin deficiency were statistical different among different genders(P<0.05),and no statistical differe nce in syndrome elements heat,external wind,sputum,blood heat,coldness and Qi deficiency(P>0.05).Yin deficiency and Qi deficiency had a positive linear correlation with days of onset at admission(P<0.05).Heat,external wind,and blood heat were negatively correlated with days of onset at admission(P<0.05).There was no correlation between sputum and fluid and days of onset at admission(P>0.05).4.Rules of syndrome elements of disease location combination: The main distribution of syndrome elements of disease location combination was as follow:lung+surface > lung > lung+surface+small intestine > lung+surface+spleen,accounting for 93.92% of the total number.The distribution of the number of syndrome elements of disease location:two disease location > three disease location >one disease location > four disease location.5.Combination of nature of disease syndrome elements:The distribution of deficiency syndrome elements combination was mainlyas follow:Yin deficiency > Qi deficiency > Yin deficiency+Qi deficiency > Qi deficiency+Yang deficiency.The distribution law of excessive element combination was mainly as follow: phlegm+heat+external wind > heat+external wind > phlegm+heat > heat,accounting for 54.26% of the total.The distribution rules of deficiency and excessive syndrome elements combination mainly include:sputum+heat+external wind+Yin deficiency,sputum+heat+external wind+Yin deficiency >heat+external wind+Yin deficiency.The distribution of the number of nature of disease syndrome elements:three > four > five > two > six > one > seven > eight.6.Regular distribution of location and nature of disease combination:There were multiple types,and frequency of each type was low,the top 5 combination forms were:lung+surface+sputum+heat+external wind,lung+surface+sputum+heat+external wind+Yin deficiency+Qi deficiency > lung+surface+sputum+heat+external wind+ Yin Deficiency,lung+surface+heat+external wind > lung+surface+heat+external wind+Yin deficiency.Conclusion:1.There is no obvious gender difference in the distribution of Mycoplasma pneumonia in children,which can be seen in children of all ages.The age of onset is mainly in the early childhood and preschool children,and the preschool children are the most.The onset season can be seen throughout the year,mostly in summer and autumn.2.The main syndrome elements of disease location of Mycoplasma pneumoniae are lung and surface,involving small intestine,spleen,stomach,large intestine and kidney.The excessive syndrome elements are mainly heat,external wind,sputum,blood heat,and the deficiency syndrome elements are mainly Yin deficiency and Qi deficiency.The number of syndrome elements of disease location are mainly the two disease location,the lung+surface appears the most frequently,and the number of nature of disease syndrome elements is mainly three nature of disease and above,mostly mixed. |
