| In the context of accelerated global urbanization, various threats such as the heat island effect, habitat fragmentation, and land use transformation brought by urban development have brought challenges to the survival of urban organisms, and how to protect and restore urban biodiversity is gaining more and more attentio, among which road green space,as a green corridor in the city, has irreplaceability in biodiversity conservation. As part of the urban ecosystem, mosses have important ecological functions and roles, but their sensitivity to environmental changes makes their survival and development vulnerable to the effects of global urbanization. Therefore, this paper takes moss plants in urban road green spaces in Guiyang as the research object, focusing on the species composition and diversity of moss plants in the area and the influence of environmental factors. This study hopes to clarify the environmental factors affecting the distribution of moss plants and their response to environmental pollutants through the characteristics of moss plant diversity in different scale habitats in urban road green space habitats,to provide theoretical support for urban biodiversity conservation and landscaping, and to provide a scientific basis for managing the urban environment and ecological restoration of road green space. The results of the study are as follows:(1)Through the survey,a total of 56 species of mosses in 13 families and 26 genera were recorded in the road space of Guiyang, including 53 species of mosses, accounting for 94.73% of the total number of species, and 3 species of liverworts, accounting for 5.26% of the total number of species.Among them, the dominant families were Pottiaceae,Brachytheciaceae,Hypnaceae, and Thuidiaceae. The dominant genera are Brachythecium,Eurhynchium,Hyophila,Bryum, and Haplocladium. The geographical composition of the flora of the study area shows that the temperate-type components of the road bryophytes flora of Guiyang City are dominant. The habitat types of bryophytes in this area can be divided into four types according to the living substrate, and the overall habitat was mainly soil-habitat.The main life forms were wefts and turfs, which could adapt to the environment with strong light, dry, and disturbance.(2)To test variability in statistical analysis of bryophytes plant diversity in different scale habitats,we used one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)was conducted. In different section forms, the bryophytes Margalef and Shannon indices in the second board and three belts were significantly higher than those in three plates and four belts and four plates and five belts. In different green belts, the highest moss plant diversity was in the roadside green belt, and the lowest was in the street tree green belt.In different distances from the road edge, bryophytes Shannon and Margalef in the greater than 10 m range were significantly higher than the remaining three distances.Among different plant allocation patterns, the Shannon index was significantly different between tree and grass, tree and shrub, and shrub;the Simpson index was significantly different between tree and grass, and tree and shrub and grass. We used principal coordinates analysis(PCoa)and analysis similarities(ANOSIM)to analyze the variability of bryophyte communities in road space, and the results showed that there were significant differences in bryophytes communities in most scale habitats, which indicated the heterogeneity of different habitats.(3)We used correlation analysis to analyze the relationship between the environment and bryophyte diversity. The results showed that soil moisture, air humidity, crown density, shrubs, and litter cover were the main environmental factors affecting bryophyte diversity. The RDA was applied to explore the relationship between different bryophyte adaptations to the environment, and the transformations of different bryophyte species to various environmental factors were all different. To investigate the relationship between bryophytes and the atmospheric environment and the pollution of different habitats, the heavy metal content of common bryophytes in the study area was analyzed, and three species of bryophytes,Bryum argenteum,Haplocladium microphyllum, and Fabronia matsumurae were found to have significantly higher heavy metal content than that of other bryophytes. The rich metal contents of mosses in different road space types differed among various section forms, the heavy metal contents of mosses in four plates and five belts were higher, and the rich metal contents of mosses in two plates and three belts were the lowest. The metal contents in mosses showed a decreasing trend at different distances with the increase in distance. The plant allocation patterns indicated that the pollution of moss plants under complex community structures is low.Although the pollution of road space is all different,in general, the Zn pollution in the study area is more severe and should be paid attention to in future management. |
