This article designs an irrigation controller based on wireless and fiber optic communication.Firstly,the irrigation controller consists of a gateway,a relay node,and a collection and control node.The gateway communicates with the cloud platform through a 4G communication network,the relay node communicates with the gateway through a fiber optic communication network,and the collection control node communicates with the relay node through a LoRa communication network.Through the cloud platform,remote monitoring of farmland data and irrigation control can be achieved;Secondly,in order to solve the problem of sensor measurement errors,a multi-sensor data fusion algorithm is used to process the agricultural environmental data collected by multiple sensors,in order to improve sensor measurement accuracy and reduce measurement errors.The Penman Montes water demand calculation formula is used to calculate the agricultural water demand and obtain an accurate irrigation amount,In order to solve the problem of unstable irrigation flow caused by electromagnetic interference and uneven laying of irrigation pipelines in agricultural environments,this paper uses genetic algorithm optimization LQR algorithm to control the water pump motor to ensure stable irrigation flow;Finally,design the hardware circuit and software program of the controller,and conduct performance tests on each module of the irrigation controller.The test results show that the irrigation controller designed in this article has stable communication,low data collection error,and stable irrigation flow.It can achieve remote monitoring of agricultural environmental data and precise irrigation functions,improve agricultural production efficiency,reduce labor,and has certain economic value.
