Research On Influencing Factors And Lifting Path Of Community Resilience In The Context Of Major Public Health Events

The rapid spread of major public health events,their wide range,their great impact on economic and social development,and their long duration around the world have had a great impact on people’s lives,health and the normal operation of society.Faced with the threat of major public health events,how urban communities can prevent and respond to such crises should become a focus of attention.The concept of resilience provides a new way to reduce community disaster under the impact of crises.In the discussion on emergencies,most of the existing studies have discussed community resilience in the context of risk events such as natural disasters,but there is a lack of research on community resilience in the context of major public health events.Paying attention to community safety and adaptive governance in community emergency response is a key consideration in the post-pandemic era.It is important to deepen the application of the concept of resilience in communities and explore the factors affecting community resilience in the context of major public health events.Based on the theory of organizational resilience and social capital,this study explores the influencing factors and mechanism of community resilience in the context of major public health events.From the two levels of individual and community,a model of influencing factors of community resilience was constructed based on relevant domestic and foreign studies and community governance practices in China.On the basis of the previous analysis,the improvement path of community resilience in the context of major public health events is proposed.In this study,333 valid data were collected through questionnaire survey,and the hypothesis was verified by empirical analysis.This study found that:(1)Residents’ perception of social support,residents’ community commitment,community collective efficacy,community adaptive ability and social network interaction have significant positive effects on community resilience;(2)Residents’ perception of social support partially mediates community collective effectiveness,community adaptability,social network interaction and community resilience;(3)Residents’ community commitment plays a partial mediating role between community collective effectiveness,community adaptability,social network interaction and community resilience.On the basis of the above analysis of influencing factors,this study proposes optimization strategies for community resilience from three levels.At the resident level,endogenous driving forces for community resilience need to be cultivated: strengthening community identity and commitment of residents,strengthening social support and security for vulnerable groups,encouraging extensive participation of residents to cultivate collective effectiveness,expanding social interaction to optimize network connectivity.At the community level,it is necessary to strengthen the adaptability of the community: community quick response to give play to the advantages of early disposal,flexible response to stimulate the vitality of community governance,technology enabling to improve the efficiency of community governance,open communication channels,etc.At the government level,a diversified and coordinated governance system should be build.we should improve the top-level design based on resilient governance,promote community collaborative value leadership,and strengthen diverse cooperation to build a community governance community.This paper studies community resilience from the perspective of major public health events,interprets the influencing factors of community resilience from different dimensions,makes research hypotheses,and then builds a model of influencing factors of community resilience in the context of major public health crisis events.Finally,according to the key influencing factors and mechanism of urban community resilience,community resilience optimization strategies are proposed from multiple levels.In addition,this study combines quantitative methods such as questionnaire survey and empirical analysis to carry out research,promoting the research paradigm of community resilience from theory to demonstration,from qualitative to quantitative.
