Clinical Observation Of Buyang Huanwu Decoction In Treating Transient Lower Limb Numbness After MIS-TLIF For Patients With Lumbar Disc Herniation(Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis)

Target: To explore the clinical efficacy of Buyang Huanwu decoction in the treatment of transient lower limb numbness(Qi deficiency and blood stasis)after MIS-TLIF operation in lumbar disc herniation patients,and analyze its mechanism of action from the perspective of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,so as to provide a new solution for clinical treatmentMethod: 1.Patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted to our hospital between January 2022 and December 2022 were selected,and all patients accepted MIS-TLIF,according to the inclusion standards and exclusion standards,40 cases were included in the study.2.40 cages were randomly divided into control group and observation group.The patients in the control group were treated with mecobalamin only,while those in the observation group were treated with Mecobalamin and Buyang Huanwu decoction.All the patiences who occured numbness of lower limbs were treated on the first postoperative day.The course of taking ecobalamin was 14 days,while Buyang huanwu decoction was taken from the first day of postoperative numbness in the lower limbs.The course of this treatment was 28 days,and each time was taken with 200 ml warm water.And then recorded their VAS score and M-JOA score in four times,include before treatment,1 day after operation,7 days after operation and 3 months after operation.Also we need to measure the content of TNF-α before treatment,7 days after operation and 3 months after operation.3.Then general datas and the observation index datas were all collected,and used the statistical software SPSS 27 to analyz,then according to the statistical results to get the conclusion of this study.Outcomes:1.First compared the two groups of patients in sex,age,and course of disease,disease segments and other aspects,then we finded their was no significant difference;Also there was no significant difference in Vas,M-JOA score and TNF-α between the two groups before treatment,so it was comparable.Then we campared the Vas and M-JOA scores of the two groups at the first day after operation,7 days after operation and 3 months after operation with the same group before treatment,we finded it was mean to prove both of the method that was feasible to cure this problem.The content of TNF-α in the two groups during 7 days and14 days after treatment were compared with those before treatment.There was significant difference between the two groups.The comparison between the two groups showed that the two groups all had excellent therapeutic effects.3.There was no significant difference in Vas and JOA scores between the two groups on the first day after operation.But there were significant differences in Vas,M-JOA score and the content of TNF-αbetween the two groups at 7 days and 3 months after operation.The comparison between the two groups showed that both methods were effective in the treatment of lower limb numbness after MIS-TLIF,but the Buyang huanwu decoction with mecobalamin was better.4.After 3 months follow-up,the excellent and good rate of the observation group was 95%,but the rate of the control group was 85%.There was a significant difference between the two groups,it was suggested that Buyang Huanwu prescription combined with Mecobalamin had a better therapeutic result.Conclusion:Two different treatment methods have good curative effect on the patients with transient numbness of lower limbs after MIS-TLIF,but the effect of Buyang Huanwu decoction combined with Mecobalamin is better than that of Mecobalamin alone.The results showed that Buyang huanwu decoction combined with Mecobalamin was better than Mecobalamin.And it could be used to treat the patience who had a transient numbness of lower limbs after MIS-TLIF operation,so that patients can start the lumbar functional exercise early,also this way can improve the quality of patient’s life.
