Clinical Observation Of Qianlie Xiaozhuo Decoction In The Treatment Of Damp-Heat Stasis Type ⅢA Prostatitis

Objective: To observe the effect of ’Qianlie Xiaozhuo Decoction’ on the symptoms,signs and laboratory indexes of patients with type IIIA prostatitis of damp-heat stasis type,and to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of this prescription.Methods: From February 2022 to October 2022,78 patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected from the outpatients of the Second Department of Nephrology,Shijiazhuang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.They were divided into two groups by random number table method,namely treatment group and control group,39 cases in each group.All patients received unified health education and behavioral counseling before treatment.The control group was given levofloxacin tablets and tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained-release capsules,and the treatment group was given Qianlie Xiaozhuo decoction on the basis of the above.The observation time of this study was 4 weeks.The observation indexes of each patient before and after 4 weeks of treatment were recorded,including white blood cell and lecithin body count in EPS,interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),NIH-CPSI score,NIH-CPSI severity,TCM syndrome score and safety index.In addition,the shedding and adverse events were recorded.Statistical analysis was performed using medical statistical software SPSS26.0 to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Qianlie Xiaozhuo Decoction in the treatment of damp-heat stasis type IIIA prostatitis.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in the comparison of the general clinical data(age,course of disease),white blood cell and lecithin body count in EPS,IL-6,TNF-α,NIH-CPSI score,NIH-CPSI severity and TCM syndrome score between the two groups before treatment,which were comparable(P > 0.05).(2)After 4 weeks of treatment,the white blood cell count,IL-6,TNF-α,NIH-CPSI score and TCM syndrome score in the EPS of both groups were significantly decreased compared with before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P < 0.01),in the treatment group,the degree of NIH-CPSI condition and the lecithin corpuscle count in EPS were significantly decreased compared with before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P < 0.01).However,in the control group,the degree of NIH-CPSI condition and the lecithin corpuscle count in EPS,decreased compared to the pre-treatment level,the variance was statistically meaningful(P < 0.05).(3)Comparison of Western medical effects:After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were88.89% and 69.44%,with statistical difference(P < 0.05).After treatment,the TNF-α,NIH-CPSI score and NIH-CPSI severity of EPS in the treatment group were lower than those in the other group,with statistical difference(P < 0.05);IL-6 in EPS in the treatment group was obviously lower than the other group,with significant statistical differences(P < 0.01),there was no difference in the number of white blood cells and lecithin bodies in EPS between the two groups,and there was no statistical difference(P > 0.05).(4)Comparison of the effect of TCM syndrome: After 4 weeks of treatment,in the treatment group and control group,the total efficiency respectively were 91.67% and 77.78%,with statistical difference(P < 0.05).In addition,in the treatment group,TCM syndrome scores were lower than that of the other group,with statistical differences(P < 0.05).(5)Safety analysis: In this study,the vital signs of all patients were stable during the treatment,and no obvious adverse events occurred.Conclusion:(1)Qianlie Xiaozhuo Decoction combined with western medicine can improve the symptoms and signs of patients with type IIIA prostatitis of damp-heat stasis type,and significantly improve the quality of life;the white blood cell count,lecithin count,IL-6 and TNF-α levels in EPS,NIH-CPSI score,and NIH-CPSI severity were reduced.(2)In the process of applying Qianlie Xiaozhuo Decoction in the treatment of type IIIA prostatitis of damp-heat stasis type,no obvious toxic and side effects were found,no adverse reactions were found,indicating that this prescription is safe and reliable,and can be further promoted in clinical use.
