Objective(s): In this project, serum Omentin-1 and vitamin D levels in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis were explored by enzyme-linked immunosorbent method and electrochemiluminescence method, respectively, and to study whether there is a correlation between Omentin-1 and vitamin D,so as to provide clinical guidance for the effective treatment of osteoporosis.Method(s): A total of 58 postmenopausal women who attended the Department of General Medicine and General Medicine Clinic of our hospital were collected from January 2022 to December 2022.These women were divided into three groups according to the bone mineral density: bone mass normal group(12 people),osteopenia group(20 people),and osteoporosis group(26 people).According to age, there are three groups: 50 to 60 years old,60 to70 years old,> 70 years old.According to the length of menopause, there are three groups: 0 to 5 years,5 to 10 years,> 10 years. Results of general clinical and biochemical tests were collected and serum Omentin-1 levels were measured using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)kit. The three groups were compared and analyzed using one-way variance;Pearson correlation analysis was used to find out whether there was a correlation between serum Omentin-1,25(OH)vitamin D levels and various indicators.Multivariate linear regression analysis was used to evaluate the main factors affecting bone density, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Result(s):(1)With the gradual increase of age and menopause time,BGP level and BMD value decreased significantly, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)General data of Different BMD groups: The results of the comparison between groups showed that the age and menopausal duration of the osteoporosis group, the osteopenia group and the osteoporosis group increased sequentially, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the BMI of the osteoporosis group, osteopenia group and normal osteoporosis group decreased sequentially, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Comparison of serum Omentin-1 level and bone metabolism indexes between groups: Comparison of serum Omentin-1 level andβ-collagen special sequence level: osteoporosis group>osteopenia group>normal bone mass group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Total25(OH)vitamin D level and BGP level were compared: the osteoporosis group<osteopenia group<the normal bone mass group, the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)Pearson correlation analysis: Serum Omentin-1 levels were positively correlated with TG levels(r0.277,P<0.05);Serum Omentin-1 levels were negatively correlated with BMD(r-0.265,P<0.05).Total 25(OH)vitamin D levels were positively correlated with BGP and BMD(r 0.320,0.560,P<0.05).Total 25(OH)vitamin D levels were negatively correlated with Age,length of menopause and β-collagen specific sequences(r-0.415,-0.389,-0.398,P<0.05).(4)Multivariate linear regression analysis: Total 25(OH)vitamin D,LDL-C and BGP had a significant positive effect on BMD(P<0.05).Conclusion(s): Postmenopausal women with significantly increased serum Omentin-1 levels with osteopenia and total 25(OH)vitamin D levels decreased significantly with osteopenia, and postmenopausal women with high levels of serum Omentin-1 and low levels of total 25(OH)vitamin D were more likely to develop osteoporosis.
