Nowadays, under the background of the Healthy China Initiative, people’s health is related to national development. As the improvement of China’s economic level and people’s living standard, the public attaches more importance to the quality of life, resulting in the diversification and differentiation of people’s health needs.During the COVID-19 pandemic, many problems still exist in our society.Although the current epidemic has entered a flat phase and society is gradually returning to normal operations,it is still necessary to deeply reflect on the health problems that still exist in our society. This study focuses on the many obstacles faced by COVID-19 rehabilitation patients in the process of returning to society, and attempts to reveal the widespread prejudice and exclusion of diseases or disease groups in our country.During special period, the perception of risk and fear of disease lead to the phenomenon of disease stigma. In this case,COVID-19 rehabilitation patients will also fall into a vulnerable position due to the shame brought by the disease. Thanks to the development of new media communication technology,COVID-19 rehabilitation patients are more inclined to seek relevant social support content through cyberspace, hoping to help themselves out of hook. The Zhihu platform has become an important channel for the public to seek support due to its Q&A and social attributes. Therefore, the Zhihu community has great potential and value in the practice of health communication. This study selects all Q&A content in Zhihu platform from 2019 to 2022 as the research object, which related to "discrimination about COVID-19 rehabilitation patients ".At the same time, this study uses Python 3.9 tools to mine relevant data, and uses Gephi software to draw a social support relationship map about this topic.Based on the theory of social support, this study will start from the following two aspects.First, based on the perspective of content,it explores the types of social support provided by the Zhihu platform for COVID-19 rehabilitation patients.Second, from the perspective of relationship,it studies the social network built by COVID-19 rehabilitation patients on Zhihu platform.According to the performance of COVID-19 rehabilitation patients on Zhihu platform, the study found that,in a certain sense,Zhihu platform can form a positive social support effect for COVID-19 recovery patients in special periods, from the perspective of social support content. However, the content of social support has obvious limitations, which are manifested as shallow presentation of social support, imbalance of social support supply and demand, and limited coverage of social support.Meanwhile, from the perspective of social support relationship, the overall network density is small, the average distance and diameter of the network are both large. The network structure presents a sparse state, which is not conducive to the dissemination and flow of information. The social support relationship of the Zhihu platform is also subject to some restrictions, specifically manifested in problems such as disconnected social support channels, unstable social support relationships, and weak social support among users. In this case, the many social support needs initiated by COVID-19 rehabilitation patients in Zhihu community have not been fully met. Finally, aiming at the limitations of social support in Zhihu platform, this study discusses the corresponding optimization strategies. In terms of social support for disease groups,it is necessary to develop social support in cyberspace and improve social support in real life.We should pay attention to the cyberspace and the real society, and jointly build a complete social support system, and apply it in the field of health communication.
