Clinical Efficacy Study Of Xianfang Huomingyin Combined With Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules In The Treatment Of Grade Ⅲ And Ⅳ Acne Vulgaris (Phlegm And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy,adverse reactions and recurrence rate of Xianfang Huomingyin combined with Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules in the treatment of grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ Acne Vulgaris(phlegm and blood stasis syndrome).Methods:80 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was given Xianfang Huomingyin on the basis of the control group(Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules),orally for 6 weeks.Before treatment and every2 weeks after treatment,the skin lesions of the patients were observed,and the GAGS score was performed;the TCM symptom scores and Acne-QOL-19 scores of the patients before and after treatment were compared;with or without recurrence.The obtained data were processed by SPSS26.0 software.Results:79 cases were actually completed,and 1 case in the control group dropped out.(1)After 6 weeks of treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was 92.5%,and that of the control group was 76.92%.The difference was statistically significant(χ~2=4.727,P=0.037).(2)After 6 weeks of treatment,the GAGS scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).There was significant difference in GAGS score between the two groups after 6 weeks of treatment(Z=-3.303,P=0.001).(3)After 6 weeks of treatment,the TCM symptom scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).There was significant difference in TCM syndrome score between the two groups after 6 weeks of treatment(Z=-4.008,P≈0).(4)After 6 weeks of treatment,the score of Acne-QOL-19 in the two groups was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Acne-QOL-19 score between the two groups after 6 weeks of treatment(Z=-1.237,P=0.216).(5)After 6 weeks of treatment,the incidence of adverse reactions was 7.5%in the treatment group and 23.08%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=5.384,P=0.025).(6)Three months after treatment,the recurrence rate was 5%in the treatment group and17.95%in the control group,the difference was not statistically significant(χ~2=3.280,P=0.087).Conclusion:(1)Xianfang Huomingyin combined with Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules can more effectively improve the skin lesions and TCM symptom scores of patients with grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ Acne Vulgaris(phlegm and blood stasis syndrome),and the clinical efficacy is better.(2)Xianfang Huomingyin combined with Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules can significantly improve the quality of life of patients with grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ Acne Vulgaris(phlegm and blood stasis syndrome),and the effect is similar to that of Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules.(3)Xianfang Huomingyin combined with Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules had significantly less adverse reactions in the treatment of grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ Acne Vulgaris(phlegm and blood stasis syndrome)than Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules.(4)The 3-month recurrence rate of Xianfang Huomingyin combined with Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules in the treatment of grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ Acne Vulgaris(phlegm and blood stasis syndrome)was lower than that of Minocycline Hydrochloride Capsules.
