Objective:To observe the clinical effectiveness of acupuncture combined with five elements music in the treatment of perimenopausal depression,to further verify the effectiveness of acupuncture combined with five elements music in the treatment of perimenopansal depression, and to provide a new therapeutic method and theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of perimenopausal depression.Method:Eighty patients with perimenopausal depression(kidney deficiency and liver depression type)who met the inclusion criteria were selected, and the control group and treatment group were divided into 40 cases each according to the random number table method, and paroxetine hydrochloride tablets were selected as the basic treatment drug for both groups once daily for 4 weeks. The control group was treated with simple TCM five elements music, while the treatment group was treated with traditional acupuncture on the basis of the control group, and the above treatments once a day,6 times a week for 4 weeks The changes in the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17)scores,the modified female perimenopausal self-measurement scale(Kupperman)scores, and the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.Results:1.HAMD-17 score:After treatment, the HAMD-17 scale scores of subjects in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment, and the treatment group had significantly lower scores compared to the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Kupperman score:After treatment,Kupperman score decreased in both groups compared with that before treatment, and by comparison between groups revealed that the treatment group had lower scores than the control group, and the difference was significant and statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Chinese Medicine Evidence Scores After treatment, the total TCM symptom scores of both groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group than in the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05);when comparing the symptoms in both groups,it was found that the symptom scores of both groups decreased compared with those before treatment, especially in the treatment group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of total efficiency:the effective rates of the control group and the treatment group were 83.78%and 94.73%respectively after the end of treatment, and the difference between the groups was significant and statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of adverse reactions:Comparing the adverse reactions that occurred during treatment in the two groups, the incidence of adverse reactions was 51.35%and 23.68%in the control and treatment groups, respectively, and there was a significant difference between the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with drug therapy alone, acupuncture combined with five elements music therapy can effectively reduce the depression level of PDD patients, stimulate patients’ interest in life, work and study, reduce patients’ perimenopausal symptoms, and improve subjects’ quality of life and physiological status, and this treatment method has obvious efficacy and less adverse effects,so it has certain practical significance and promotion value in clinical treatment.
