| Objective:Systematically evaluate the effect of metformin combined with sitagliptin on blood glucose in obese patients with diabetes mellitus type 2(T2DM),and provide more choices and more effective plans for clinical treatment.Methods:By searching Pubmed,Embase,Cochrane Database,Web of Science,CNKI Digital Library,Wanfang Database,VIP database and other databases,the relevant literature published at home and abroad was summarized,and the literature meeting the requirements was selected for meta-analysis.Evaluate whether statistically significant results can be obtained.Results:This study finally included 9 literatures in recent 5 years,including 722 obese patients with T2 DM.The results of this Meta-analysis showed that the fasting blood glucose level of the experimental group treated with metformin combined with sitagliptin was lower than that of the control group treated with metformin alone or metformin combined with other drugs(insulin secretagogue/acarbose),and the difference was statistically significant[SMD=-1.95,95%CI-2.95～-0.95];The reduction of postprandial blood glucose in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group [SMD =-1.35,95% CI-1.97～-0.73];Compared with the control group,the experimental group reduced glycosylated hemoglobin better [SMD =-1.80,95% CI-2.61～-1.0].The subgroup analysis was carried out according to different treatment courses.The results showed that fasting blood glucose,2h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin were the lowest at 2-4 weeks after metformin combined with sitagliptin,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion:1.Metformin combined with sitagliptin has a good hypoglycemic effect on obese patients with T2 DM mellitus.2.Different treatment courses of metformin combined with sitagliptin have different effects on blood sugar,and the hypoglycemic effect is the best when the drug is used for2-4 weeks in short-term treatment. |
