| The relationship between Nigeria and China is a trending topic,whether in the context of the "new" fight for Africa or the restructuring of international relations.This new atmosphere has provided an opportunity for Nigeria,in the form of providing an alternative development path independent of the West.In recent years,we have come to realize that unprecedented trade,globalization,travelling,climate change,protectionism and geopolitical populism,as well as pandemic health threats,are no longer a national problem.With the world increasingly aware of China’ s role as a vital contributor to global health,accompanied by the knowledge gap in this sector,this thesis wishes to contribute in some way in the health relations between Nigeria and China.This paper is divided into four chapters;The first chapter contains the research background,significance,literature review,research content,research methods,and the main viewpoints of the thesis.The second chapter analyzes the relevant international relations theories supporting the thesis theme,the theories are foreign aid theory,and global governance theory.The third chapter discusses the Nigerian health sector from the governmental level to the citizen level.The fourth chapter talks about the current health relations between both countries,pointing out the benefit of the relationship,factors affecting the growth of the relationship and then concluding the thesis by giving few suggestions to policymakers,investors,and medical professionals on how to further strengthen this relationship to be a win-win situation for both countries. |
