Objective:A self-management intervention scheme for patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma was developed based on the Information-Knowledge-Attitude-Practice model(IKAP model). To explore the effect of IKAP self-management,intervention program on self-management efficacy,self-management,psychological state and adverse reactions of chemotherapy in patients with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Methods:Based on the literature review and IKAP model as the theoretical basis, the self-management intervention program for patients with NHL chemotherapy was developed through group discussion.12 experts in related fields from 3 provinces were selected to conduct two rounds of correspondence consultation by Delphi method, and the self-management intervention program for patients with NHL chemotherapy was determined by discussion and modification based on expert opinions and preliminary experimental results.Seventy patients with NHL chemotherapy who were hospitalized in a third-class A hospital in Jining from July 2022 to November 2022 and met the inclusion criteria were selected as the study objects.Randomized method was used to divide 35 cases into control group and receive routine chemotherapy nursing. In the intervention group,35 patients received IKAP model based self-management intervention program on the basis of conventional chemotherapy nursing.Data of self-management efficacy,self-management ability, depression state and adverse reactions to chemotherapy were collected before 1month after and 3 months after intervention to evaluate the application effect.SPSS26.0statistical software was used to conduct t test,Chi-square test, analysis of variance, etc.,and P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:1.Through two rounds of expert correspondence consultation,a self-management intervention program with 46 items in 4 modules was established, including mastering patient information, teaching relevant knowledge, changing ideas and generating practical actions. The expert authority coefficient of the two rounds was 0.86 and 0.90,and the Kendall harmony coefficient was 0.257 and 0.275,respectively.The level of expert authority coefficient was high and the credibility was high.2.Before the intervention, the general information,self-management efficacy,self-management score,Hamilton Depression Scale score and chemotherapy adverse reaction score of the two groups were compared, and the results showed no statistical significance(P>0.05),which was comparable.3.One month and three months after the intervention, the self-management efficacy and self-management scores in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The self-management efficacy and self-management scores of patients in two groups increased at first and then decreased over time.4.At one month and three months after the intervention, depression score and chemotherapy adverse reaction score in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and there was statistical significance in the intergroup effect, time effect and interaction effect(P<0.01).Conclusion1.Through literature review, expert letter consultation and preliminary experiment, the IKAP model based self-management intervention scheme for NHL chemotherapy patients was established.2.The self-management intervention program for NHL chemotherapy patients based on IKAP model can improve patients’ self-management efficacy and self-management ability, alleviate patients’ depression and reduce adverse reactions to chemotherapy.3.The program is scientific and reasonable, providing theoretical and practical reference for clinical nursing work and self-management of NHL chemotherapy patients.
