| With the improvement of modern medical level and public health literacy, the role of health communication as a non-medical means in health promotion has become increasingly prominent.Social media has the advantages of interpersonal communication and mass communication. It has a good effect on individual health behavior and health intervention, and has gradually become the main channel of health communication.Since the introduction of HPV vaccine,it has been a hot topic in the fields of medicine, public health and health communication. As an effective measure for the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer in women,it has attracted a lot of attention and discussion on social media, but the discussion of male perspective is relatively blank. In fact, the harm of HPV infection to men cannot be ignored.Strengthening male HPV knowledge education and vaccination is conducive to reducing the overall HPV infection rate and ensuring national health.College students are the main objects of HPV vaccination, and they have rich social media information contact behavior.Based on the classic knowledge-attitude-practice theory of health communication, this paper takes male college students in colleges and universities in Guangxi as the research object, and investigates the influence of social media information contact on HPV cognition, attitude and behavior of male college students in Guangxi. The study used questionnaire survey to collect samples, mainly through correlation test and regression analysis to compare social media information contacts with non-contactors,the influence of information contact on HPV vaccine knowledge, attitude and behavior intention, and the influence of demographic variables on HPV vaccine knowledge, attitude and behavior. The results show that the level of knowledge, attitude and practice of social media information contacts is lower than that of non-contactors.The intensity of social media information contact has a positive impact on the attitude and behavior of HPV vaccine in male college students, but has no impact on cognition.Information evaluation has a positive impact on the cognition, attitude and behavior of HPV vaccine among male college students. In addition, the higher the cognitive level of HPV vaccine in male college students, the more positive their attitude towards HPV vaccine, and the higher the willingness to vaccinate HPV vaccine. The research shows that social media information exposure has an impact on the knowledge, attitude and behavior of HPV vaccine among male college students. At the same time, there are also mutual influences among HPV vaccine cognition, attitude and behavior. In the future promotion of HPV vaccine,it is necessary to effectively use the advantages of social media in health promotion. The government, medical institutions and the media are working together to present multi-level and high-quality HPV vaccine information to enhance the attention and cognition of male college students on HPV vaccine. |
