Research On The Effect Of Zhang’s Runchang Prescription On Qi Deficiency Constipation Colonic Motility

Objective:Zhang’s Runchang prescription is a commonly used prescription for Professor Zhang Xiaoping’s treatment of Qi deficiency constipation.In this study,by comparing Zhang’s Runchang prescription with Moxapide citrate tablets on gastrointestinal passage time,weekly frequency of defecation,stool shape and clinical efficacy in patients with Qi deficiency functional constipation,more reliable scientific basis for Zhang’s Runchang prescription in the treatment of FC is provided.Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this subject,60 patients with STC in the spleen and stomach Department of Jiangxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as observation objects and randomly divided into two groups.Both groups were given life and diet intervention.The treatment group was given Zhangshi Runchang prescription orally,twice a day,once in the morning and once in the evening.The control group was given Mosapride citrate tablets 5mg,3 times a day,before meals.Course of treatment: Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.GITT test,TCM symptom score,weekly autonomous defecation score,fecal shape score and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups before and after medication.Result:1.Total effective rate:60 cases were included,8 cases quit(2 cases in the treatment group,6 cases in the control group),and 52 cases were effective.The total effective rate of the control group was 92.8%,the treatment group 75.0%,and a significant difference is suggested in the effective rate comparison between the two groups,P<0.05.2.Comparison of TCM symptom scores: The comparison of TCM symptom scores for constipation in the treatment group before and after treatment was P<0.01,while the comparison of TCM symptom scores for constipation in the control group was P<0.05.After treatment,the two groups had P>0.05 in terms of defecation effort,sweating and shortness of breath due to hard work,and P<0.01 in terms of fatigue after defecation,mental fatigue,lazy speech,and total score.It can be seen that Zhang’s Runchang Formula can not only promote defecation,but also alleviate the symptoms of systemic qi deficiency,and has more advantages than Mosapride in improving fatigue,mental fatigue,and lazy speech after defecation.3.Comparison of GITT:The comparison of GITT scores between the two groups before and after treatment was P<0.01,and the comparison of GITT scores between the two groups after treatment was P<0.05,indicating that both groups had a significant improvement in colon motility,and the treatment group was better than the control group.4.Comparison of weekly spontaneous defecation and stool shape score:After treatment,the weekly CSBM score and stool score of the two groups were significantly reduced(P<0.01),and the treatment score group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.01),After 4 weeks of follow-up,the mean weekly CSBM decreased slightly in the treatment group,but more significantly in the control group,and the response rate of weekly CSBM was significantly different between the two groups(P <0.01),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the weekly spontaneous defecation frequency and stool characteristics.5.Safety evaluation:None of the 52 patients with STC who participated in this study had adverse drug reactions.Conclusion:Zhang’s Runchang formula in the treatment of constipation with Qi deficiency has obvious advantages in improving colon transmission function,improving symptoms of Qi deficiency and increasing the number of spontaneous defecation.It is safe and reliable without adverse reactions,which is worthy of clinical reference and promotion in the treatment of constipation.
