Objective The purpose of this study is to establish a scientific and feasible urinary control management program after radical prostate cancer surgery. The urinary control management program after radical prostate cancer surgery was applied to further explore the effect of this program on the efficiency of urinary incontinence treatment, postoperative quality of life and negative emotions in patients convalescing after radical prostate cancer surgery. Methods 1.Relevant literature at home and abroad was systematically searched, and the best evidence items for urinary incontinence care after radical prostate cancer surgery were summarized through literature study. The research group held a meeting to discuss and combined with clinical practice experience to build the first draft of urinary control management program after radical prostate cancer surgery, and revised and adjusted the program through two rounds of expert letter consultation and preliminary experiment. Finally, the urinary control management scheme after radical resection of prostate cancer was established.2.A quasi-experimental study design was adopted to select 114 patients with urinary incontinence after prostate cancer surgery who were admitted to the urology department of a grade-III first-class hospital from June 2022 to November 2022 as the research objects. The patients were divided into two groups according to the time of admission, and the patients with urinary incontinence after prostate cancer surgery admitted from June 2022 to August 2022 were selected as the control group.Patients with urinary incontinence after prostate cancer surgery admitted from September 2022 to November 2022 were the intervention group. The control group was treated with routine perioperative nursing education, and the intervention group was treated with urinary control management program after radical prostatectomy. The difference of urinary incontinence treatment effective rate, postoperative quality of life and negative emotion between the two groups were compared before surgery,1 month,2 months and 3 months after surgery. Results 1.Construction of urinary control management scheme after radical resection of prostate cancer(1)After searching the database,a total of 1356 articles were obtained. After screening,a total of 3 guidelines,2 expert consensus papers,4 evidence summaries,6 systematic evaluations, and 5 randomized controlled experimental research papers were included. The measures related to urinary incontinence nursing in the literature were evaluated and summarized, forming the first draft of the urinary control management plan after radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer.(2)The effective recovery rate of the two rounds of correspondence questionnaire was 93.75%,and the authority degree of the two rounds of correspondence questionnaire was greater than 0.7.The harmony coefficient of the experts in the first round and the harmony coefficient of the experts in the second round were 0.376 and 0.412 respectively.Through two rounds of expert correspondence consultation and preliminary experiment, the urinary control management scheme after radical prostate cancer surgery was finally constructed, including 5 first-level items,14 second-level items and 44 third-level items.2.Application of urinary control management program after radical resection of prostate cancer A total of 114 samples were received, evenly divided into control and intervention groups. No significant statistical difference was found when comparing the general data, and the baseline was consistent. Before intervention, there was no significant difference in the objective degree of incontinence between the two groups. The effective rate in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group after 1 month,2 months and 3 months, and the difference was statistically significant. There was no significant difference in quality of life between the two groups before intervention. After 1 month,2 months and 3 months, the life quality score of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was significant. There was no significant difference in negative emotion between the two groups before intervention; The SAS and SDS scores of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group after 1 month,2 months and 3 months. Conclusions The urinary control management program constructed after radical prostate cancer surgery in this study can improve the efficiency of urinary incontinence treatment and quality of life, promote patients’ mental health.
