| Objective:To explore the association between the frequency of CT classification of frontal recess and the development of chronic frontal sinus in the Mongolian population.Materials and Methods:100 cases of patients from October 2020 to February 2023,100 cases from Mongolian and Han,and about 200 sides each.Raw CT images were post-processed by an imaging physician,Reconstruction images of bone and soft tissue windows in thin coronal and sagittal positions,And combined with the original thin-layer axial images,Interwith the three planes,The frontal crypt pneumochamber and frontal sinus grade of all study subjects were classified by two senior radiologists engaged in head and neck radiology for more than 8 years,The classification criteria are strictly according to the International Standard(The International Frontal Sinus Anatomy Classification,IFAC)and frontal sinus grading criteria(Frontal Ostium Grade,FOG),Combined with the imaging diagnostic results,clinical history and symptoms,and the results of nasal endoscopy,For the controversial part,The consensus was reached by the two physicians through consultation.Explore the frequency of frontal and frontal sinus grading ratio in the Mongolian population,analyzed the frequency and the relationship between the frontal and Logistic regression analysis,and calculate the odds ratio(odds ratio,OR)and 95% confidence interval(confidence interval,CI).Differences were considered statistically significant at P <0.05.Results:1.Air chamber of Mongolian and Han samples(Agger Nasi Cells,ANC)occurs at a similar frequency,With unequal size differences between the other six subtypes,The suprachiorbital sieve chamber in Mongolian cases(Supraorbital Ethmoid Cell,SOEC),frontal sinus space(Frontal Septal Cell,FSC)higher frequency of both types than Han cases,In Han cases(Supra Agger Cell,SAC),upper chamber(Supra Bulla Cell,SBC),superior nasal thalamic frontal gas chamber(Supra Agger Frontal Cell,SAFC),sieve bubble upper frontal gas chamber(Supra Bulla Frontal Cell,SBFC)showed a high occurrence rate compared with the Mongolian samples,Among them,the differences in SAFC,SBFC and FSC were statistically significant(χ2=16.421,P=0.012).2.Among the Mongolian cases with good vaporization on side 196,the number of FOG cases was 158,grade 0 was 20,and negative cases was 18;In 192 Han cases,the FOG cases was 138,grade 0 was 28,and negative cases were 26.The difference between the cases showed the difference between the cases(χ2=4.098,P=0.129).3.The association between chronic frontal sinusitis 43,SAC(OR=0.20;95CI:0.09-0.45;P<0.001),SAFC(OR=0.23;95CI:0.10-0.54,P=0.01)and the development and development of chronic frontal sinusitis was statistically significant,while other subtypes including ANC,SBC,SBFC,SOEC and FSC had no obvious effect on the development and development of chronic frontal sinusitis.Conclusion:1.The frequency of CT typing of frontal crypt gas chamber was different between The Mongolian population and Han population,among which the frequency of SOECs and FSCs was higher in Mongolian population than that in Han population.2.Mongolian population cases were higher than the Han cases,but the difference between the two was not statistically significant.3.There is an association between the frontal recess atrium and the development of chronic frontal sinusitis in the Mongolian population,among which SAC and SAFC are statistically significant for the development of chronic frontal sinusitis. |
