Objective: Explore the use of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging(CMR)to evaluate changes in ventricular remodeling in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG)before and after surgery. Methods: From July 2019 to March 2023,30 patients with coronary artery stenosis confirmed by coronary angiography(CAG)and requiring CABG were selected as the study subjects.Record the patient’s general information and undergo CMR examination before and after surgery.Collect information on the following seven aspects separately:(1)The middle thickness of each ventricular wall at the end of left ventricular diastole;(2)Peak Ejection Rate(PER),Peak Filling Rate(PFR),Peak Ejection Time(PET),Peak Filling Time(PFT);(3)Left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD);(4)Left ventricular end diastolic volume(LVEDV);(5)Left ventricular end diastolic volume index(LVEDVI);(6)Left ventricular mass(LVM);(7)Left ventricular mass index(LVMI),left ventricular remodeling index(LVRI),and relative wall thickness of left ventricle(LVRWT);Results:(1)The thickness of the interventricular septum, lateral wall, and anterior wall measured before and after surgery were compared, and no significant improvement was found. The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),but the lower wall was statistically significant compared to the preoperative thickness(P<0.05).(2)Compared with preoperative LVRWT and LVRI showed an upward trend, with LVRWT having statistical significance(P<0.05),while LVM and LVMI had no statistical significance(P>0.05).(3)Compared with pre operation,LVEDD,LVEDV,and LVEDVI were significantly decreased(P<0.01).There was improvement in PER,PET,PFR,and PFT(P>0.05).(4)Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between LVRWT and LVMI(correlation coefficient 0.480,P=0.007).Conclusion:(1)CMR can qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate the ventricular remodeling caused by coronary atherosclerosis;(2)CABG can improve ventricular remodeling, and CMR can accurately evaluate its changes;(3)CMR can accurately provide left ventricular functional parameters and ventricular structural changes, and provide important reference for judging prognosis and follow-up after surgery;(4)LVRWT and LVMI are highly correlated, indicating that they can accurately reflect ventricular remodeling.
