Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of renal artery stenting for atherosclero tic renal artery stenosis(ARAS).Methods:55 patients with atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis admitted to the People’s Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected. All patients underwent renal artery stent implantation, and were followed up for 12 months. The changes in blood pressure, oral antihypertensive drugs, renal functi on,and major cardiovascular adverse events, stent restenosis, and postoperative compli cations were observed and recorded one month, six months, and 12 months after surg ery.Analyze whether interventional treatment of renal artery stenosis can benefit patien ts.Results:All 55 patients underwent renal artery stent implantation, and the success rate was100%.After 12 months of treatment, blood pressure(systolic blood pressure 131.36±6.84mm Hg,diastolic blood pressure 82.33±3.69 mm Hg),blood pressure(systolic blood pressure130.33±6.30 mm Hg,diastolic blood pressure 81.29±2.61 mm Hg),and blood pressure(systolic blood pressure 129.45±5.88 mm Hg,diastolic blood pressure 81.42±2.27 mm Hg)at one month after operation were significantly lower than those measured before operation(systolic blood pressure 157.00±7.52 mm Hg,diastolic blood pressure 92.55±4.37 mm Hg).((49)<0.05).The types of oral antihypertensive drugs(2.65±0.64)in 55 patients after operation were significantly lower than those before operation(1.15±0.35)((49)<0.05).One month after operation[creatinine(77.87±16.97)μmol/L,cystatin C(1.034±0.215)mg/L,glomerular filtration rate(67.40±32.69)ml/(min·1 73 m~2)],six months after operation[creatinine(77.98±16.98)μmol/L,cystatin C(1.028±0.214)mg/L,glomerular filtration rate(67.55±32.63)ml/(min·1 73 m~2)],12 months after operation[creatinine(77.85±16.97)μmol/L,cystatin C(1.024±0.216)mg/L,glomerular filtration rate(67.33±32.58)ml/(min·1 73 m~2)]compared with preoperative[creatinine(77.88±17.13)μmol/L,cystatin C(1.029±0.222)mg/L,glomerular filtration rate(67.44±32.90)ml/(min·1 73 m~2)]changed little((49)>0.05).Conclusions:Renal artery stenting is an effective treatment for atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis, which can effectively reduce renal vascular hypertension, but it has no definite effect on renal function protection.
