| Objective This project investigates the basic caries situation of children aged 3-5 years old in Hohhot area,and provides basic reference data for caries research in Hohhot area;analyzes the correlation between Cariostat caries activity test and caries situation;determines the ABO blood group typing and hemoglobin level(HGB)of children aged 3-5 years old in Hohhot area,and explores the correlation between caries situation,caries activity and ABO blood group and HGB of children in the area,and provides theoretical basis for caries prevention.HGB,to provide theoretical basis for the prevention of childhood caries.(As a reference)Methods 1.182 children aged 3-5 years old in Hohhot who met the criteria were selected as the study subjects,and the correlation between the caries status and caries activity was analyzed by examining the caries status and Cariostat caries activity test,recording the number of carious fillings(dmft),the number of carious filling surfaces(dmfs)and the caries status(CAT)of the milk teeth.2.Blood groups were recorded,and the correlation between the dmft and dmfs of children with different blood groups,and the correlation between CAT values and ABO blood groups was analyzed.3.analysis.The measures were statistically described using P50(P25,P75)or(X±SD),and the normality test was performed using the one-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test,and ANOVA was used to compare between the means of multiple groups obeying normal distribution,and statistically significant post hoc two-by-two comparisons were made using the LSD method.If the data did not obey a normal distribution,Kruskal-Wallis H test was performed for comparison between multiple groups.Count data were statistically described using rates,and statistical inferences were made using the χ~2 test.Spearman correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between dmft,dmfs,CAT and hemoglobin.Statistical analysis was performed by two-sided test,and the significance test level was α=0.05.Results 1.Caries:A total of 182 children aged 3-5 years old in Hohhot were included in this study.dmft(Z/H=0.567,P>0.05)and dmfs(Z/H=1.359,P>0.05)were not statistically significant between different genders.dmfs(Z/H=8.309,P>0.05)was statistically significant between the age group of 3 years old and the age group of 5 years old.The difference was statistically significant.2.182 children aged 3-5 years in Hohhot had positive correlation between dmft and CAT values(r=0.372,P<0.05);dmfs and CAT values had positive correlation(r=0.386,P<0.05).3.the study showed 182 children aged 3-5 years,46 with blood type A,60 with blood type B,54 with blood type O,and 22 with blood type AB.dmft values in the O group were lower than dmft values in the A,B,and AB groups,with a statistically significant difference between dmft values in the O group and dmft values in the B group(χ~2/Z=8.027,P<0.05);O group dmfs values were lower than those of the A,B and AB blood groups,with a statistically significant difference between the dmfs values of the O blood group and those of the AB blood group(/Z=l1.430,P<0.05).The CAT values of children with different blood types were detected,and the percentage of CAT values in the O group compared with the CAT values in the A,B and AB groups was higher in the O group(37%)than in the A,B and AB groups(26.1%,26.7%and 27.3%),and the difference was not statistically significant(χ~2=2.007,P>0.05).The percentage of people with CAT value<1.0(29.6%)was higher than the percentage of people in the A,B and AB blood group(10.9%,8.9%and 9.1%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=12.099,P<0.05).4.Among 182 children aged 3-5 years in Hohhot,HGB values were negatively correlated with dmft(r=-0.326,P<0.05),HGB values were negatively correlated with dmfs(r=-0.373,P<0.05),and HGB values were negatively correlated with CAT values(r=-0.225,P<0.05).Conclusion 1.The caries situation of children aged 3-5 years old in Hohhot is serious,and the severity increases with age,and the overall caries risk is still at a high level,so further oral health education and personalized graded management should be carried out.2.The results of Cariostat caries activity test can reflect the tendency of caries in children,and the CAT value is positively correlated with the severity of caries in children.3.This study shows that among children with different blood groups,children with blood groups A,B and AB have more serious caries than children with O group.The difference between the dmft value of the O blood group and the B blood group was statistically significant,and the difference between the dmfs value of the O blood group and the AB blood group was statistically significant.4.There was a negative correlation between caries status,CAT value and hemoglobin level in children,and the dmft,dmfs and CAT values tended to decrease as the hemoglobin level increased. |
