Objective: To explore the relationship between serum vitamin D,serm immunoglobulin E(IgE),serum eosinophils, serum neutrophils and complement C3 and the severity of symptoms and signs in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis(CRS),and to analyze the relationship between serum vitamin D,IgE,serum eosinophils and serum complement C3.Methods: In this study, during December 2021 to January 2023,patients with CRS who were from the otolaryngology department in our hospital were selected as the experimental group, and patients with simple deviation of nasal septum were selected as the control group. All patients were asked and recorded for medical history, nasal endoscopy, sinus CT scan, and then the CRS group was assessed for symptoms score,Lund-Kennedy score,Lund-Mackay score, and VAS score.Serum IgE,vitamin D,complement C3 and eosinophil and neutrophil counts were measured in CRS group and control group. The patients in the experimental group were divided into groups according to the Lund-Mackay score, with more than or equal to 10 points as group A,and less than 10 points as group B.According to analyze the difference between allergy(serum vitamin D,IgE,eosinophils, neutrophils, complement C3)and CRS,and to understand the relationship between serum vitamin D,IgE,eosinophils, neutrophils, complement C3 and the severity of symptoms and signs in group A and B of CRS patients.Results:(1)There was a significant difference in serum vitamin D,eosinophils,IgE,and neutrophils between CRS group and control group(P<0.05),however,there was no significant difference in complement C3(P>0.05).(2)In CRS group, the difference of complement C3 between group A and group B was statistically significant(P<0.05),while the difference of serum vitamin D,IgE,eosinophils and neutrophils was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(3)In CRS group, serum IgE value was correlated with serum vitamin D value(P<0.05),IgE value was correlated with Lund-Macaky score(P<0.05),complement C3 was correlated with LundMacaky score(P<0.05),complement C3 was correlated with Lund-Kennedy score(P<0.05),there was no correlation between eosinophil, neutrophil, vitamin D and Lund-Macaky score(P>0.05),there was no correlation between eosinophil, neutrophil, vitamin D,IgE and LundKennedy score(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)The levels of serum IgE,eosinophils and neutrophils in CRS group were higher than those in patients with nasal septum deviation, and the value of vitamin D was lower than those in patients with nasal septum deviation.(2)Lund-Macaky score showed that the complement C3 value of CRS group with ≥ 10 points was higher than that of CRS group with Lund-Macaky score less than 10 points.(3)The serum IgE value of CRS group was negatively correlated with the vitamin D value, and positively correlated with the CT score value.
