Objective: To investigate and analyze the daily physical activity and hypertension risk of the rural elderly in Ruijin City, and to understand the overall situation of physical activity and hypertension risk of the rural elderly in Ruijin City.Through correlation analysis and construction of structural equation model, the regression relationship between physical activity and hypertension risk of rural elderly in Ruijin city was analyzed. To explore the mediating effect of overweight and obesity on the relationship between physical activity and hypertension risk among the rural elderly in Ruijin City, the relationship between physical activity and overweight and obesity, and the relationship between overweight and obesity and hypertension risk.Method: By using the methods of literature, questionnaire, test, field survey and mathematical statistics, the elderly people in rural areas of Ruijin City were taken as the investigation objects to conduct physical activity survey and health examination test to obtain the data of physical activity and hypertension, and analyze the differences of physical activity among the elderly people in rural areas of Ruijin City in different genders, villages and age groups. To investigate the relationship between physical activity and hypertension risk and the mediating effect of overweight and obesity.Research results:(1)The total physical activity score of the rural elderly in Ruijin was 176.2±45.99;Among them, the score of leisure activity was 38.95±19.51 points, that of housework activity was 81.6±21.95 points, and that of occupational activity was55.65±25.32 points. There was no significant difference in the total score of physical activity of the rural elderly in different villages of Ruijin(p > 0.05),the total score of physical activity of the rural elderly men was significantly higher than that of the elderly women(p < 0.05),and the total score of PASE of the elderly at different ages was significantly different(F=90.771,p=0.000 < 0.01).(2)The BMI overweight obesity rate of the rural elderly in Ruijin was 41.78%;There was no significant difference in the detected number of overweight and obesity among the rural elderly in Ruijin in different regions and different age groups(p > 0.05).The detection rate of overweight and obesity among the rural elderly women was significantly higher than that of the men.In addition,9.48% of the rural elderly in Ruijin were found to be low body weight.(3)The detection rate of hypertension in the rural elderly in Ruijin was 35.98%;There was no significant difference in the detection rate of hypertension among the rural elderly of different genders(p > 0.05),but there were significant differences in the detection rate among the rural elderly of different regions and different age groups(p< 0.05).(4)There was a linear regression relationship between physical activity, overweight obesity and hypertension risk among the rural elderly in Ruijin:hypertension risk =0.585-0.002* total physical activity +0.343* overweight obesity. The model was well fitted and could explain 17.7%(R~2=0.177)of the risk of hypertension. In the regression path of "physical activity and hypertension risk","overweight and obesity" exerts a partial mediating effect on the hypertension risk of the elderly in rural areas. There are three ways to influence the risk of hypertension in the rural elderly in Ruijin: a.physical activity-hypertension risk;b.Overweight and obesity-risk of hypertension;c.Physical activity-overweight,obesity-risk of hypertension.(5)Within a certain load range, the higher the physical activity of the rural elderly in Ruijin, the lower the relative risk rate of hypertension prevention and control(0.48< 0.64 < 1);The higher the physical activity, the lower the relative risk of overweight and obesity(0.17 < 0.69 < 1).Within a certain range,non-overweight and obese elderly people in rural areas of Ruijin had a higher relative risk rate of hypertension prevention and control than overweight and obese people(0.68 < 1).Conclusions:(1)The elderly in rural areas of City can reduce the risk of overweight and obesity by increasing physical activity,so as to prevent and control the risk of hypertension.(2)The prevention and treatment of hypertension in rural elderly people in Ruijin can be carried out by deepening the integration of physical medicine, stimulating rural physical activities, maintaining a healthy weight, paying attention to the waist circumference of the elderly, giving up smoking and limiting alcohol, improving bad life style and carrying out "self-management of rural patients".
