Objective:Care based on Early Essential Newborn Care.By providing Acupressure points to mothers,we explore the effects of the onset of lactogenesis and postpartum lactation. Methods:In this trial,88 women who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected from a maternity hospital in Changchun. Before enrollment, members of the group explained the process and purpose of the trial to the women and their accompanying families, and signed an informed consent form.88 study subjects were randomly included in the control and observation groups by the random number table method, with 44 cases in each group. The control group implemented Early Essential Newborn Care;the observation group provided acupressure to the mothers on this basis. The lactation and breastfeeding status of the two groups were assessed and compared.Results:1.General comparison: There were no statistical differences in age, gestational week, education, occupation, feeding attitude, health status,BMI value added during pregnancy;neonatal body mass, and neonatal 1-minute Apgar score between the two study groups, and the enrolled subjects were balanced and comparable.2.Lactation Ⅱ initiation time: The control group(32.76±3.14)and the observation group(27.41±5.56)hours.The lactation time was statistically different between the two groups when compared(P<0.05).3.Breast Milk production on the 3rd day after delivery: In the control group and the observation group,17 and 26 women showed adequate lactation, respectively, and the lactation of the two groups was statistically different(P<0.05)for 3 days after delivery.4.Degree of breast pain: A total of 9 women in the control group experienced breast tenderness during the intervention period, while 2 women in the observation group experienced breast tenderness during the intervention period, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups in terms of breast tenderness after comparing(P<0.05).5.Exclusive breastfeeding rate on postnatal day 3 and postnatal day 42: The rates of exclusive breastfeeding in the control and observation groups at 3 days postpartum were33% and 53%,respectively,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant by statistical analysis(P<0.05);the rates of exclusive breastfeeding in the two groups at 42 days postpartum were 77% and 86%,respectively,and there were no significant differences between the two groups by statistical analysis for comparison(P>0.05).6.Breastfeeding self-efficacy: The breastfeeding self-efficacy scores at discharge were(40.23±8.32)and(46.74±7.36)in the control and observation groups, respectively, and the breastfeeding self-efficacy scores at the postpartum return visit were(44.60±4.93)and(53.19±5.65),respectively,and the breastfeeding self-efficacy scores in the two groups were statistically different by statistical analysis(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupressure points can shorten lactation initiation time and increase postpartum milk production, thus increasing the early exclusive breastfeeding rate and improving maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy. |
