| Objective:This subject uses the "cross-row needle" buried thread method to treat abdominal obesity patients with spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction, and compares it with the conventional acupuncture method in the same acupuncture point group to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the "cross-row needle" buried thread method and the conventional acupuncture method in treating abdominal obesity(spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction type),so as to provide an effective acupuncture point selection plan and treatment method for the clinical treatment of abdominal obesity. Methods: Seventy-two patients were divided into the treatment group("cross-row needle" buried group)and the control group(conventional needle group)according to the randomized grouping method. The changes in weight, body mass index(BMI),waist circumference(WC),hip circumference(HC)and waist-to-hip ratio(WHR)of the patients in both groups before and after treatment were observed, and SPSS26.0 software was applied to statistically analyze the data and compare the efficacy differences between the two groups.Results:(1)After treatment, the weight,BMI,WC,HC,and WHR of patients in both groups, compared with those before treatment, were significantly different(P<0.05).This indicates that both methods are effective in the treatment of abdominal obesity of the spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction type.(2)There was no significant difference between the weight,BMI,WC,HC,and WHR of the two groups after treatment(P>0.05),but the weight loss value,BMI loss value,WC loss value, and HC loss value of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group, and there was a significant difference(P<0.05);the difference between the WHR of the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).It indicates that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving patients’ weight,BMI,WC,HC,and WHR.(3)Regarding the total clinical efficiency, the efficiency of the treatment group(91.43%)was higher than that of the control group(76.47%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:(1)The "cross-row needle" acupuncture point group can effectively treat abdominal obesity of the spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction type.(2)The clinical efficacy of the "cross-row needle" buried thread method in treating abdominal obesity of spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction was better than that of the conventional acupuncture method in this acupuncture point group. |
