Clinical Observation On Tongqiao Xiaoxian Decoction In Treating Adenoid Hypertrophy Of Children With Phlegm And Blood Stasis Syndrome

Objective: By observing the clinical efficacy of Tongqiao Xiaoglan Tang in treating children with phlegm stasis syndrome of adenoid hypertrophy,a new and effective clinical treatment plan is provided for the treatment of this disease.Methods: 63 cases of children from the Children’s Diagnosis and Treatment Center of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,aged between 2-10 years old,who met the inclusion criteria,were collected and given oral treatment by their tutor,Professor Duan Xiaozheng,with the self prepared prescription of Tongqiao Xiaoxian Decoction free from decoction.Their symptoms,physical examination and vital signs were compared before and after,and the efficacy was summarized and analyzed.Results: A total of 63 eligible children were selected,including 1 case who fell out due to delayed follow-up,1 case who withdrew from the trial due to difficulty in taking traditional Chinese medicine,and 1 case who terminated the trial due to parents giving other drugs that interfered with the treatment of adenoid hypertrophy during the medication.A total of 60 children completed the trial,with a total effective rate of 93.3%.After statistical analysis using SPSS 24.0 software,the P-value was found to be 0.000<0.01,indicating significant statistical significance.Among them,after 4 weeks of treatment with oral self formulated formula Tongqiao Xiaoglan Tang,a total of 4 cases were cured,44 cases were significantly effective,8 cases were effective,and 4 cases were ineffective.And there were no adverse reactions observed during the treatment process and daily follow-up.Conclusion: Tongqiao Xiaoglan Tang is clinically effective in treating pediatric adenoid hypertrophy with phlegm stasis syndrome,and no adverse reactions have occurred.
