Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis With External Application Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined With Acupuncture

Objective: The application of external application of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture(Sanjian point,Xinxi point)in the treatment of acute onset of early knee osteoarthritis and chronic knee osteoarthritis was observed,and its effect on pain,swelling and joint function was observed.Methods: Screening in changchun university of Chinese medicine affiliated hospital of early osteoarthritis of knee joint and chronic knee osteoarthritis patients with acute episodes,into the subjects were 80 patients with clinical randomized controlled trials,used computer programs to draw randomly divided into two groups,40 cases in each group,control group given Chinese medicine external treatment intervention,Is on the basis of the control group given acupuncture treatment Sanjian point,Xinxi point,by looking at the week before and after the treatment of knee joint diameter,osteoarthritis clinical symptoms and signs scores,ISOA,VAS,SF-36 scale and other indicators,we assessed the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine,The therapeutic advantages of the two were compared.Results: The two groups of patients in this study were comparable,a total of 3 cases fell out due to adverse reactions.The knee circumference,VAS,osteoarthritis clinical signs and symptoms score,ISOA and SF-36 of the treatment group and the control group after intervention were superior to those before intervention.After the completion of the intervention,the knee circumference,VAS,osteoarthritis clinical signs and symptoms score,ISOA and SF-36 in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group.After 4 weeks of follow-up,the knee circumference,VAS,osteoarthritis clinical signs and symptoms score,ISOA and SF-36 in the treatment group were significantly better than those before treatment.Finally,the TCM curative effect and overall effective rate of the treatment group were better than those of the control group,and there was a statistical difference between them.Conclusion: Chinese medicine external treatment in combination with acupuncture(Sanjian point,Xinxi point)in the early treatment of knee osteoarthritis and chronic knee osteoarthritis acute curative effect significantly,can be improved of KOA patients pain,swelling,joint dysfunction,and less adverse reaction,high safety,good short-term curative effect duration,has high clinical value,To provide reference for non-surgical treatment of KOA.
