| Objective:To investigate the effect of music-exercise therapy combined with heart rate variability biofeedback on mild cognitive dysfunction in patients with schizophrenia. Methods:A total of 100 patients with schizophrenia who were hospitalized in a tertiary psychiatric hospital in Anhui Province from May 2021 to October 2022 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 50 cases each. The control group patients were given routine psychiatric nursing measures, including basic nursing, safety nursing, psychological nursing and health education. In the experimental group,30 sessions of heart rate variability biofeedback and 36 sessions of music-motor intervention training were performed on the basis of routine psychiatric care. The general data questionnaire,MMSE,ITAQ,N-BPRS,NOSIE scale, and Stroop tests were assessed at the time of patient enrollment, and again at the end of the 12-week intervention. Results:A total of 10 cases were dropped,of which 3 withdrew due to fluctuating disease,6 withdrew due to discharge, and 1 patient voluntarily gave up.Finally,46 cases were completed in the control group and 44 cases were completed in the experimental group. There was no difference in baseline data such as age, sex, education level, marital status, family history, course of disease,MMSE,ITAQ,N-BPRS,NOSIE scale, and Stroop test(P>0.05).The scores of the MMSE,ITAQ,N-BPRS,NOSIE scale, and Stroop tests were compared between the two groups after the intervention. The scores of MMSE and ITAQ scales were higher in the experimental group than before the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05).The N-BPRS scale score in the experimental group was lower than before the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05).On the NOSIE scale, the scores of patients in the experimental group in the dimensions of social ability, social interest, personal hygiene, total positive factors and total score were improved compared with the control group(P<0.05),the scores in the dimensions of agitation, depression and total negative factors were reduced, and the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05);the scores in the two dimensions of psychopathy performance and retardation were not statistically significant compared with the control group(P>0.05).In the Stroop test, the reaction time of patients in the experimental group in the dimensions of Dot.Rt,Int.Rt,and Word.Rt was shorter than that before the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05);the correct number of Dot.ACC,Int.ACC,and Word.ACC was improved compared with the pre-intervention period, and the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05). |
