Objective: To investigate the psychosocial adaptation of patients with chronic wounds, analyze the factors that affect the psychosocial adaptation of patients with chronic wounds, help clinical nurses predict the psychosocial adaptation of patients with chronic wounds, identify relevant high-risk groups, and use resources to formulate active and effective nursing measures; To provide a more comprehensive theoretical basis for further development of effective intervention measures for chronic wound care and management. Methods: Convenient sampling method was used to select patients with chronic wounds who were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of South Anhui Medical College from July 2021 to December 2022 as the research objects. The general status questionnaire,PUSH,PAIS-SR,SSRS The Depression Anxiety Stress Scale(DASS-21)was used to investigate patients with chronic wounds who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Use Epidata3.1 to establish a database, and use SPSS25.0 and Graphpad Prism9.0 software for data processing and analysis. The measurement data were expressed by mean ± standard deviation. In single factor analysis,t-test was used for comparison between two groups,ANOVA was used for comparison between multiple groups, and nonparametric test was used when the variance was uneven.Bonferroni method was used for pairwise comparison;Multiple stepwise regression analysis was used for multivariate analysis. Results: 1 In this study, there were 230 actual questionnaires, excluding 13 invalid ones, and 217 valid ones, with an effective recovery rate of 94.34%.In this study, the score of psychosocial adaptation level of chronic wound patients ranged from 11 to 103 points, with an average score of(55.33 ± 21.24)points and an average score of(1.26 ± 0.48)points.The average score of each dimension item from high to low was(1.56 ± 0.72),(1.37 ± 0.74),(1.36 ± 0.54),(1.32 ± 0.61),(1.24 ± 0.79),(1.05 ± 0.48),and(0.83 ± 0.38).2 The results of single factor analysis on the level of psychosocial adaptation of chronic wound patients showed that the total score of psychosocial adaptation of chronic wound patients was statistically significant in age, spouse,BMI index, education background, occupation, per capita monthly income of family, drinking history and wound type, all P<0.05.3 Pearson correlation analysis showed that NAS score, subjective support dimension, objective support dimension, support utilization dimension were negatively correlated with psychosocial adaptation score of chronic wound patients;PUSH score, depression, anxiety and stress were positively correlated with psychosocial adaptation scores of patients with chronic wounds. The absolute value of Pearson correlation coefficient r ranges from 0.228 to 0.654.4 The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that depression,PUSH score, spouse, days of exercise per week, subjective support, wound type, per capita monthly income of family, drinking history,NAS score, and support utilization were the influencing factors of psychosocial adaptation level of chronic wound patients, which accounted for 73.5% of the variation of psychosocial adaptation level of chronic wound patients. Conclusion: 1 The level of psychosocial adaptation of patients with chronic wound disease is in the middle poor level, and the level of psychosocial adaptation of patients with chronic wound disease needs to be improved urgently.2 The main influencing factors of psychosocial adaptation of chronic wound patients were spouse, family average monthly income, exercise, drinking history, wound type, pain level, degree of wound healing, depression, and social support.
