Object:In this study,we analyzed the distribution characteristics of the longevity population in Xinjiang and explored the factors associated with healthy longevity in the elderly population in Xinjiang to provide reference materials for the healthy longevity of the elderly. Methods:From January 2021 to December 2021,an epidemiological survey of the elderly population(age ≥ 60years)was conducted in various different regions of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region using a stratified multi-stage random sampling method. In the first stage,in the existing 14 prefectural-level administrative regions(including 5 autonomous prefectures,5 regions, and 4 prefectural-level cities)in Xinjiang,2 total 6 prefectural-level administrative regions(Tacheng and Altay regions in the north,Hotan and Kashgar regions in the south, and Turpan and Hami regions in the east)were selected in the south, north, and east borders respectively by simple random sampling method;in the second stage,2 total 12cities/counties were selected in the sampled regions respectively by simple random sampling method.2 a total of 12 cities/counties(Tacheng region: Usu city,Tacheng city,Altay region: Fuyun county,Altay city,Hotan region: Hotan city,Moyu county,Kashgar region: Kashgar city,Shache county,Turpan region:Gaochang district,Shanshan county,Hami region: Izhou district,Balikun Kazakh autonomous county);in the third stage,a total of 62,230 cases of study subjects need to be randomly selected according to the sample size calculation formula.According to the sixth census data, the sampling weight of each area is "the number of elderly population in the area/total number of elderly population in the six areas",and the sample size is assigned according to the weight(sample size of each area = total sample size * weight),and finally the required survey individuals are selected in the sampled cities/counties using simple random sampling method.A uniform standardized questionnaire was used to record the basic conditions and health status of individuals, and a uniform survey method was used to measure heart rate, height, weight, blood pressure, draw fasting blood, and measure blood glucose, blood lipids and other relevant biochemical indicators. The study subjects were divided into 60-89 years old group and 90 years old and above group(longevity group)according to different age stages, among which the longevity group was further divided into healthy and non-healthy groups according to health or not,and the relevant characteristics of long-lived elderly and factors related to healthy longevity were analyzed. Results:The final 60,143 cases of enrolled study subjects completed this survey, with a response rate of96.65%.Excluding those with cognitive impairment,a total of 57,922 study subjects entered the statistical analysis process, including 463 long-lived elderly(0.8% of the elderly population),aged(92.82±3.838)years.The percentage of long-lived elderly in the elderly population was South Border(0.9%)> North Border(0.8%)> East Border(0.5%),248 males(0.9%)> 215 females(0.7%),uneducated(1.7%)>educated(0.6%),no co-morbidities(1.7%)> presence of co-morbidities(0.6%),non-smoker(0.8%)>smoker(0.4%)(0.4%);not drinking(0.8%)> drinking(0.4%);low weight(1.6%)> normal(1.1%)>overweight and obese(0.6%);widowed(1.6%)> divorced(1.5%)> unmarried(1.2%)> married(0.6%);long-lived elderly in the south, east, and north of the border were 311,43,and 109 cases, respectively, with a sex ratio of male: female = 1.16;ethnic The proportion was 316(69.1)% for Uyghur,121(26.5)% for Han,9(2)% for Hui,and 11(2.4)% for Kazakh, and the long-lived elderly were mainly married elderly(57.0%).There were 167 people in the healthy group and 296 people in the non-healthy group in the longevity group.Analysis of factors associated with healthy longevity: compared with the long-lived elderly in the eastern border and married, those living in the southern border(OR=3.337,95% CI:1.661-6.706),those in the northern border(OR=2.575,95% CI: 1.19-5.568),widowed,divorced,and unmarried(OR=2.539,95% CI: 1.56-4.132)were risk factors for healthy longevity;compared to overweight and obese, the advantage ratio of healthy longevity was increased in low weight(OR=0.226,95%CI: 0.095-0.536),normal weight(OR=0.303,95% CI: 0.197-0.465)individuals.Conclusions:The proportion of long-lived elderly in the community elderly population in Xinjiang was 0.8%,and the distribution was characterized by the proportion of long-lived elderly in the southern border > northern border > eastern border and male > female.Among the long-lived elderly, those who lived in the Eastern border, were not overweight and obese, and had surviving spouses were more likely to live a long and healthy life.
