Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression levels of TGFβ1 and MCP-1 in plasma and abdominal aortic calcification and bone density in patients with vascular calcification. Methods: A total of 401 patients who were admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to March 2022 and underwent lateral abdominal X-ray examination in accordance with the natrification criteria were selected.General data and biochemical indexes such as blood calcium value, blood phosphorus value and alkaline phosphatase value were collected and included. The expression levels of TGF-β1 and MCP-1 in plasma were detected by ELISA.The abdominal lateral radiographs of the subjects were scored according to Kauppila semi-quantitative integral method. The scoring results were divided into four groups: no calcification group, mild calcification group, moderate calcification group and severe calcification group.T values of lumbar spine and bilateral hips were measured by dual-energy X-ray densitometry.According to T value and classification diagnostic criteria, the patients were diagnosed and divided into 3 groups:normal bone mass group, reduced bone mass group and osteoporosis group. The relationship between the expression levels of TGFβ1 and MCP-1 in plasma,AAC score and T value of bone density under different degree of vascular calcification and different bone mass was compared and analyzed. Results: 1.Comparison of general information between different calcification groups: The age and body mass index of the four groups were compared, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).There were clear differences in the prevalence of hypertension and coronary heart disease among 4 groups by χ2 test(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in gender, diabetes rate, blood calcium, blood phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase and albumin values among the 4 groups(P >0.05).2.Comparison of the expression levels of TGF-β1 and MCP-1 in plasma and the detection rate of abnormal bone density between different calcification groups: The expression levels of TGF-β1 and MCP-1 in plasma between the 4 groups were compared, and the differences were statistically significant by analysis of variance(P<0.05).There was significant difference in the detection rate of abnormal bone density among the 4 groups by χ2 test(P<0.05).3.Ordered multiple Logistic regression analysis of influencing factors of AAC in patients with different calcification groups: The results showed that age, hypertension and low bone density value were risk factors affecting vascular calcification.4.Pearson analysis of different calcification groups showed that AAC score was positively correlated with TGF-β1,MCP-1 level and age(P<0.05);It is negatively correlated with the T-value of bone mineral density and the level of body mass index.(P<0.05).There was uncorrelated with alkaline phosphatase level, blood calcium value, blood phosphorus value and albumin level(P>0.05).5.Comparison of general data under different bone mass: age in osteopenia and osteoporosis group was higher than that in normal bone mass group(P<0.05),but there was no clear difference between osteoporosis group and osteopenia group(P >0.05).The BMI of osteoporosis group and osteopenia group was lower than that of normal bone mass group(P<0.05),but there was no clear correlated between normal bone mass group and osteopenia group(P >0.05).There was significant difference in alkaline phosphatase value between osteoporosis group and normal bone mass group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between decreasing bone mass group and normal bone mass group, decreasing bone mass group and osteoporosis group.(P >0.05).Albumin in normal bone mass group was lower than that in osteoporosis group and osteopenia group(P<0.05),but there was no clear correlation in albumin between osteoporosis group and osteopenia group(P>0.05).There was uncorrelated in the rates of coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, blood calcium and phosphorus among the three groups(P>0.05).6.Comparison of plasma levels of TGFβ1,MCP-1 and AAC scores in patients with different bone mass:levels of TGFβ1 and MCP-1 in osteoporosis group and osteopenia group were higher than those in normal bone mass group(P<0.05),but there was no statistical significance between osteoporosis group and osteopenia group(P >0.05).The AAC score in the osteoporosis group was higher than that in the openia group and the normal bone mass group(P<0.05),but there was no obviously difference between the openia group and the normal bone mass group(P >0.05).7.Pearson correlation coefficient under different bone mass: bone density T value was negatively correlated with AAC score,TGFβ1 and MCP-1.8.Linear regression analysis of bone mineral density T value and AAC score,TGFβ1 level and MCP-1 level in patients with different bone mass suggested that AAC score,TGFβ1 level and MCP-1 level were independent influencing factors of bone mineral density T value. Conclusions: 1.T value of bone mineral density was negatively correlated with AAC score,TGFβ1 and MCP-1.AAC score was positively correlated with TGF-β1,MCP-1 and age.2.The expression levels of TGF-β1 and MCP-1 in patients with vascular calcification were higher than those in patients without vascular calcification, but could not reflect the degree of vascular calcification.3.With the increase of age,the degree of vascular calcification increases; With the increase of bone loss, the proportion of females increased.4.The degree of vascular calcification in osteoporosis patients was significantly higher than that in patients with decreased bone mass and normal bone mass.5.The expression levels of TGF-β1 and MCP-1 in patients with abnormal bone mass were higher than those in patients with normal bone mass, but could not reflect the degree of abnormal bone metabolism.
