| Objective: To investigate the clinical care effect of nursing intervention of Chinese herbal medicine sealing package combined with thunder fire moxibustion in improving pain symptoms,knee function,knee swelling and quality of life in patients with cold-damp paralysis and obstruction type knee palsy.Methods: Using the method of randomized controlled trial,96 patients who met the criteria for diagnosis,inclusion and exclusion were randomly divided into three groups: A,B and C,with 32 cases in each group.On the basis of the routine treatment and nursing of the three groups,the patients in group A were given Chinese medicine sealing package nursing intervention.Group B patients were given thunder fire moxibustion nursing intervention;Patients in group C were given the nursing intervention of Chinese medicine sealing package combined with thunder fire moxibustion for a total of 2 weeks.Three groups were evaluated before and at the end of the intervention with the Visual Analog Scale(VAS),the Western Ontario and Mc Master Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC),the Knee Circumferential Diameter,and Arthritis Impact Measurement Scale 2 short form(AIMS2-SF)score and overall response rate to treatment.Results:1.There were 3 cases of shedding in this study,including 0 cases of shedding in group A,1case of shedding in group B,and 2 cases of shedding in group C.2.The comparison of general data(gender,current residence,BMI,duration of disease,history of treatment with Chinese herbal medicine sealing and thunderbolt moxibustion,and age)of patients in the three groups before the intervention showed no statistically significant differences(P >0.05),indicating that the data were comparable.3.After the intervention,the VAS scores were 3.75±1.72,3.74±1.75,and 2.30±1.53 in groups A,B,and C,respectively;the total WOMAC scale scores were 33.56±4.79,32.68±5.64,and 23.43±5.39 in groups A,B,and C,respectively;the total AIMS2-SF scale scores in groups A,B,and C after the intervention were 68.41±6.20,69.23±7.21,and78.23±7.22,respectively.After the intervention,there were differences between groups A,B and C in terms of VAS score,total WOMAC scale points and scores in various dimensions,the Knee Circumferential Diameter,and total points of AIMS2-SF scale compared with pre-intervention(P<0.05);There were differences between groups in VAS scores,WOMAC scale total scores with each dimension score,and AIMS2-SF scale total scores in groups A,B,and C(P<0.05);The results of the two-two comparison showed no statistical significance between groups A and B(P >0.05),The difference between group C and group A or B was statistically significant(P< 0.05),Group C is better than Group A.Group C is better than Group B.4.After the intervention,the circumferential diameter of the knee joint were 37.5(36,38),36.4(36,36.9),and 36.2(36,36.73)in groups A,B,and C,respectively.There was a statistically significant difference in the intra-group comparison of the circumferential diameter of the knee joint in the three groups of patients after the intervention(P<0.001),and the results of the two-to-one comparison between groups showed that there was no statistically significant difference between group B and group C(P>0.05)There was a statistically significant difference between group B and group C compared with group A(P<0.05),Group B is better than Group A,Group C is better than Group A.Conclusion:1.The nursing interventions of single Chinese medicine seal pack,single thunder fire moxibustion,and Chinese medicine seal pack combined with thunder fire moxibustion all relieved the pain,improved the function of the knee joint,and improved the quality of life of patients with cold and damp paralysis obstruction type knee paralysis,but the combined group was more effective than the nursing interventions of single Chinese medicine seal pack and single thunder fire moxibustion.2.The nursing interventions of single Chinese medicine sealing package,single thunder fire moxibustion,and Chinese medicine sealing package combined with thunder fire moxibustion all improved the swelling of knee joints in patients with cold and damp paralytic disease,but the nursing interventions of single thunder fire moxibustion and Chinese medicine sealing package combined with thunder fire moxibustion were both superior to single herbal seal pack therapy,while the nursing interventions of single thunder fire moxibustion and Chinese medicine sealing package combined with thunder fire moxibustion were comparable in efficacy. |
