Clinical Observation Of Qihuang Mingmu Zhixue Granule In The Treatment Of Non-Proliferative Diabetes Retinopathy Patients With Deficiency Of Qi And Yin Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Qihuang Mingmu Zhixue Granules in the treatment of non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR)with syndrome of deficiency of both Qi and Yin,so as to provide more options for clinical treatment of NPDR.Methods: This study selected 80 patients(80 eyes)diagnosed as NPDR with qi and yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome from December 2021 to December 2022 in the ophthalmology clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 40 cases(40 eyes)in each group.On the basis of controlling blood sugar,blood pressure and blood fat,the control group took Calcium Dobesilate Tablet,0.5g each time,3times a day.The treatment group took Qihuang Mingmu Zhixue Granules,one sachet each time,twice a day,half an hour after breakfast and dinner,with 100 ml of warm water.Half a month was one course of treatment,and three courses of treatment.The fasting blood glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2h PG),glycated hemoglobin A1c(HBA1c),best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),fundus and fluorescence angiography(FFA),TCM syndrome score and TCM syndrome efficacy of the two groups of NPDR patients were observed before and after treatment.Results:(1)The study included 80 patients(80 eyes)with a expulsion rate of 6.25%,of which75 patients(75 eyes)completed the clinical trial,the treatment group lost the 3 patients,the control group off the 2 patients.(2)After statistical analysis,there was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of age,sex,course of disease,clinical stage and other general data(P>0.05),which was comparable.(3)According to statistical analysis,FPG,2h PG and Hb A1 c were compared with in the group after treatment,P<0.05,with statistical difference;The FPG was compared between groups,P<0.05,with statistical difference;Compare 2h PG and Hb A1 c between groups,P>0.05,no statistical difference.(4)The best corrected vision: after treatment with two different drugs,the vision of patients in both groups improved,and the vision in the treatment group was stronger than that in the control group,P<0.05,with statistical difference.(5)Fundus curative effect: two different drugs can improve the patients’ fundus condition,promote the absorption of bleeding and exudation,and the treatment group is stronger than the control group,P<0.05,with statistical difference.(6)TCM symptom score: after treatment with two different drugs,the TCM symptom scores of both groups of patients were improved,the improvement of symptoms in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group,P<0.05,with statistical difference.(7)TCM syndrome efficacy: the effective rate of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was 83.78%,and that in the control group was 47.73%.The effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,P<0.05,with statistical difference.Conclusion: Qihuang Mingmu Zhixue Granules can significantly improve the symptoms and signs of NPDR patients with qi and yin deficiency and blood stasis,further improve the vision of the patients,improve the fundus condition,actively and effectively delay the development of the disease,provide new methods and ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment,and is worthy of promotion and use.
