Clinical Efficacy Of Gunren Runchang Granules Combined With Laxative Suppository In The Treatment Of Functional Constipation (Blood Deficiencysyndrome)

Objective: Using Gunren Runchang granules alone as a control group,the safety,efficacy and feasibility of Gunren Runchang granules combined with laxative suppositories in the treatment of functional constipation(blood deficiencysyndrome)was objectively evaluated by observing the changes of patients’ symptoms,and to provide reference for future clinical practice.Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,72 patients with blood deficiencysyndrome in the anorectal outpatient department and inpatient department,from November 2021 to August 2022,of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine were strictly screened as research objects,and the method of random number table is divided into two groups and were randomly classified into the treatment group and the control group with 36 patients in each group.The actual number of patients collected was 34 in the treatment group,because there were 2 patients who had case shedding due to taking other drugs while taking the medication.There were 33 cases in the control group because 3 cases fell off because they didn’t take medicine in time.Among them,the treatment group was treated with Gunren Runchang granules combined with laxative suppositories,and Gunren Runchang granules were oral Chinese medicine no-frying granules,1 box each time,2 times a day,taken for 4 weeks,1 laxative suppository1 capsule each time,1 time a day;The control group was treated with a box of Gunren Runchang granules,twice a day,for 4 weeks.A follow-up visit was conducted 2 weeks after stopping the drug to observe the improvement of symptoms in the two groups to evaluate the efficacy and safety.Results: 1.In terms of relieving constipation symptoms,after 4 weeks of treatment,the clinical effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.The total effective rate was 91.8% in the treatment group and 78.8% in the control group.2.In terms of the total score of constipation symptoms,after 4 weeks of treatment,the total score of constipation symptoms in the treatment group decreased more significantly than that in the control group,indicating that the treatment group had a better effect on improving the overall constipation symptoms than the control group.In addition,a comparison of the total score difference of constipation symptoms between the two groups showed that after 4 weeks of treatment,the treatment group was also better than the control group in the extent of overall improvement of constipation symptoms.3.In terms of recurrence rate,4 weeks after drug withdrawal,the recurrence rate of the treatment group was 16.13% and that of the control group was 23.10%.There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups,indicating that there was little difference between the treatment group and the control group after drug withdrawal.4.In terms of the scores of single symptoms of constipation,there were differences between the two groups after treatment in the improvement of fecal characteristics,defecation effort,defecation time,defecation frequency,pale face,dizziness,palpitation and forgetful symptoms,indicating that Gunren Runchang granules combined with constipation Shuai was better than Gunren Runchang granules alone in improving the above symptoms.There was no significant difference in the improvement of symptoms of fatigue,fatigue and pale lip color,suggesting that the treatment group was not better than the control group in improving the above symptoms.Conclusion: 1.Gunren Runchang granules combined with laxative suppository have a significant effect in improving clinical symptoms in the treatment of patients with functional constipation(blood deficiencysyndrome).2.The clinical efficacy of Gunren Runchang granules combined with laxative suppository is significantly better than that of Gunren Runchang granules alone.3.After 4 weeks of treatment,Gunren Runchang granules combined with laxative suppository are significantly better improve the overall efficacy of constipation symptoms,especially in fecal properties,strenuous bowel movements,defecation time,frequency of defecation,less complexion,dizziness,palpitations and forgetfulness symptoms than the use of Gunren Runchang granules alone.4.Gunren Runchang granules combined with laxative suppository are relatively safe in the remedy of patients with functional blood deficiency constipation.
