| Objective: To investigate the expression of CD40,CD80 and CD226 in cancer tissues of patients with advanced gastric cancer and their prognosis. Methods: The expression levels of CD40,CD80 and CD226 in cancer tissues of53 patients with advanced gastric cancer were detected by immunohistochemistry, and the relationship between CD40,CD80 and CD226 expression and clinicopathological parameters was analyzed using the chi-square test, and the Kaplan-Meier method was applied for survival analysis, and the log-rank test was used for univariate analysis as well as the Cox proportional risk model for multifactorial analysis. Results: CD40 expression level was associated with TNM stage(P=0.025),distant metastasis(P=0.031),P<0.05.CD80 expression level was associated with distant metastasis(P=0.01),invasion of adjacent tissues(P=0.032),P<0.05.CD226 expression level was associated with TNM stage(P=0.012),distant metastasis(P=0.005)was associated with P<0.05.CD40,CD80 and CD226 were not correlated with each other in terms of expression.Analysis of the progression-free survival rate(PFS rate)and survival rate(OS rate)for the two groups of each molecule at six months,1year and 2 years revealed that the 2-year OS rate was significantly better for CD40 low expression than high expression(P=0.004);the differences in the 1-year PFS rate(P=0.002)and 2-year OS rate(P=0.011)between the two groups of CD80 were statistically significant at P<0.05;the two groups of CD226 The differences in the half-year PFS rate(P=0.004)and 2-year OS rate(P=0.018)were significant.Univariate analysis showed that CD40,CD80,CD226,stage,distant metastasis, invasion of adjacent tissues and surgery were all associated with the prognosis of patients with advanced gastric cancer,P < 0.05;multifactorial analysis revealed that CD40 was an independent risk factor affecting the prognosis of advanced gastric cancer,P < 0.05.Conclusions: 1.CD40 expression is higher in advanced gastric cancer tissues with high TNM stage and the presence of distant metastases, and patients with low expression have a good prognosis.CD40 expression may be an independent risk factor affecting the prognosis of advanced gastric cancer.2.CD80 expression was lower in advanced gastric cancer tissues with distant metastases and invasion of adjacent tissues, and patients with low expression have a poor prognosis, suggesting that CD80 expression may be a risk factor affecting the prognosis of patients with advanced gastric cancer.3.CD226 expression was lower in tissues of advanced gastric cancer with high TNM stage and the presence of distant metastases, and patients with low expression have a poor prognosis, suggesting that CD226 expression may be a risk factor affecting the prognosis of patients with advanced gastric cancer. |
