Objective To compile a simplified version of the TCM assessment scale for Frailty syndrome, and to evaluate its reliability and validity test and diagnostic performance. Methods In this study, literature method,Delphi method combined with brainstorming method,cross-sectional survey method and ROC curve analysis method were used.1.Literature method: comprehensively read the understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of weakness in ancient and modern medical books, and combine the findings of symptoms and symptoms in modern literature to form an initial entry pool(symptoms,symptoms).2.Delphi method combined with brainstorming method: through 4 rounds of expert consultation and expert face-to-face brainstorming method, the TCM assessment scale for the formation of asthenia syndrome is preliminarily screened(first draft).3.Cross-sectional survey method: 2 rounds of cross-sectional survey, including pre-investigation and formal investigation.Through pre-investigation,the interview script is initially optimized to reduce the error of interviewer information transmission and collection. In the formal investigation, the Chinese medicine assessment scale(first draft)of frailty syndrome was used to complete the survey of 300 elderly people, and the discriminating analysis method, correlation coefficient method,Cronbach’sa coefficient method and principal component analysis method were comprehensively used to screen the items, and finally formed the Chinese medicine assessment scale(A+B)for frailty syndrome, and the validity of the calibration scale(A+B)was calibrated for the frail syndrome TCM assessment scale.4.ROC curve analysis method was used to test the performance of the scale such as diagnostic value, sensitivity and specificity.Outcome1.This study simplifies the entries compared to the previous study of the Integrative Medicine Scale.2.Compared with the previous scale, the core certificate type of traditional Chinese medicine was preliminarily established.3.Compared with the previous scale, the TCM certificate type is further supplemented.Conclusion1.The Chinese Medicine Assessment Scale(A+B)of frailty syndrome was formed, with a total of 11 dimensions and 43 items.2.The overall Cronbach’s a coefficient is 0.899,and the internal consistency is good.(2)Structural validity: A total of 14 factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 68.061%(>60%).(3)The validity of Table A calibration standard reached 0.929(P<0.05)and Table A+B calibration standard validity reached 0.648(P<0.05),both of which were greater than 0.4,and the correlation degree was good.3.The area under the ROC curve(AUC):(1)AUC in Table A+B is 0.827(95% CI:0.778-0.876,P<0.01),the maximum approximate index is 0.517,the sensitivity is 0.606,the specificity is 0.911,and the diagnostic cut-off is rounded to 25 points, with a full score of 129 points, which has certain diagnostic value.(2)AUC in Table A was 0.957(95% CI:0.937-0.977,P<0.01),the maximum approximate index was 0.808,the sensitivity was0.949,the specificity was 0.859,and the diagnostic cut-off was rounded to 3 points, with a full score of 15,which has good diagnostic value and can meet clinical needs.4.The scale of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in asthenic syndrome has good reliability and validity, and the A/A+B table has certain diagnostic value, and can be selected according to clinical needs.
