Clinical Effect Of Modified Buzhongyiqi Decoction Combined With Acupuncture On Diarrhea Of Qi Deficiency Syndrome After Rectal Cancer Surgery

ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect of Bu zhongyiqi decoction combined with acupuncture and moxibustion on postoperative rectal cancer patients with diarrhea and qi deficiency syndrome based on TCM syndrome differentiation.To provide new treatment ideas for reducing the frequency of defecation,improving the quality of stool and defecation control ability,so as to improve the quality of life of patients with rectal cancer after operation.MethodsIn this study,randomized controlled trial was used to select a total of 58 patients who met the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in Fuzhou No.2Hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 and had diarrhea related symptoms persisting about 7 days after the operation of rectal cancer.They were divided into control group and treatment group with 28 cases.The control group received routine treatment with Kegel pelvic floor muscle exercise.In the treatment group,on the basis of the control group,the Chinese medicine Buzhong Yiqi decoction and acupuncture Yunpi Zhixie prescription were added to the treatment point.The two groups were treated with 28 days as a course of treatment.After 28 days of treatment,the defecation function of the two groups was statistically analyzed to analyze whether there were differences in efficacy between the two groups.In this experiment,WPS Office form software and SPSS 23.0 statistical software were used for data statistics and processing,and all statistical results were considered statistically significant with P < 0.05.ResultsResults: 58 patients with rectal cancer who underwent Dixon operation and developed diarrhea-related symptoms and TCM syndrome differentiation were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.After 28 days of treatment,the relevant anal function evaluation statistics of the two groups were shown as follows:1.Hsu’s pentahne scale: After 28 days of treatment,the average score of Hsu’s pentahne scale in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.2.Rectal anterior resection scale: After 28 days of treatment,the average score of the rectal anterior resection scale in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P=0.01 < 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.3.Electromyography: After 28 days of treatment,the mean duration of MUAP in the treatment group was longer than that in the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.After 28 days of treatment,the average amplitude of MUAP in the treatment group was larger than that in the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.After 28 days of treatment,the average percentage of multiple waves in the treatment group was smaller than that in the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.ConclusionThe treatment of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction combined with acupuncture and moxibustion has a certain effect on patients with diarrhea related symptoms after Dixon operation for rectal cancer;There was no significant difference in the related symptoms and treatment effect between patients with gender and age.
