ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of Zhilou mixture Ⅰ in assisting selective EPH and external hemorrhoidectomy in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids of damp-heat pouring downward typeMethodThe 60 inpatients who at met the criteria from March 2022 to October 2022 in the Anorectal Department of Nanping People’s Hospital of Fujian province, were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. Both groups was treated with selective EPH and external hemorrhoidectomy and routine treatment after surgery. The treatment group was treated with Zhilou mixture Ⅰ on the basis of routine treatment,30 ml,three times a day,for 14 days. The anal pain, anal edema and the amount of anal bleeding during defecation or dressing change were observed on the 1st before treatment,3rd and 7th day after operation in the two groups. The wound healing time of subjects were recorded. Finally, the overall efficacy was evaluated on the 14 th day after operation.Results1.60 patients were selected, including 1 cases of shedding and elimination, with a loss rate of 1.67%.59 cases were completed as required,30 cases in the treatment group and 29 cases in the control group.2.There was no statistically significant difference in sex, age, course of disease,Stages of internal hemorrhoids and number of cuts between the two groups(P>0.05).The baseline data were well balanced and comparable.3.Comparison of anal pain score:the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant on the 1st day after operation and before medication(P>0.05),and the difference was comparable. The difference was not statistically significant at the 3rd day after operation(P>0.05),but statistically significant at the 7th and 14 th day after operation(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in pain relief at the 7th and 14 th day after operation.4.Comparison of score of anal edge edema:the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant on the 1st day after operation and before medication(P>0.05),and the difference was comparable. The difference was not statistically significant at the 3rd and14 th day after operation(P>0.05),but statistically significant at the 7th day after operation(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in terms of edema reduction at the 7th day after operation.5.Comparison of anal bleeding scores during defecation or dressing change:the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant on the 1st day after operation and before medication(P>0.05),and the difference was comparable. The difference was not statistically significant at the 3rd day after operation(P>0.05),but statistically significant at the 7th and 14 th day after operation(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group is superior to the control group in reducing anal bleeding volume on the 7th and 14 th day after operation.6.Comparison of wound healing time:The average healing time in the treatment group(18.80±1.99)was shorter than the control group(20.24±2.79),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group.7.Overall efficacy evaluation:the difference in total efficacy between the two groups was statistically significant on the 7th day after operation(P<0.05),indicating that the total effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group.8.Safety evaluation:safety.Conclusion1.The Zhilou mixture Ⅰ in assisting selective EPH and external hemorrhoidectomy can effectively relieve postoperative anal pain, relieve anal edge edema, reduce anal bleeding during defecation or dressing change after operation, and shorten the time of wound healing in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoid of damp-heat pouring downward type. The clinical effect is definite.2.During the study, the patient did not experience any serious complications or adverse reactions, indicating that Zhilou mixture Ⅰ in assisting selective EPH and external hemorrhoidectomy is a safe and effective treatment scheme that is worthy of further research and application.
